'This resort has yurts and domes as well as rooms in the lodge. The yurts and domes do not have their own baths. The lodge rooms where we were did. The room had a double bed and a single. The double was quite comfortable, the single not so much. Our room was on the bottom floor. There was a restaurant attached and the option to have a package with breakfast and dinner. ' We loved our stay at the Big Intervale Fishing lodge. Everything was fabulous, the environment, the hospitality of Hermann and Ruth, the riverpool, our lodges and the excellent food (breakfast and dinner). We were sad we had to leave after two nights. 'This is a unique stay on the world famous Cabot Trail. It is a one room cabin, like a treehouse over looking St Anns Bay. The washroom facilities are a short walk down hill the facilities. It is not for everybody. It definitely worked for us! We spent 5 nights of relaxing after the beautiful drives we took on the Cabot Trail. 'Throughly enjoyed staying at the Cranberry Cottage. It has everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. The location is perfect and the scenery is beautiful. If you bring your fur baby with you there’s lots of room for them to roam. Would definitely recommend and would stay there again if we ever went back to that area. 'Cozy cabin in the woods, our dog didn’t want to leave. The bed was a double but we slept better in it than we did with some queen beds. The cabin can get warm for summer but we were able to create a good cross breeze by opening both windows and using the fan provided. It is a beautiful glamping experience. The compost toilet was the biggest adjustment for us. The ferry nearby can be a little noisy if sitting outside but hardly ever noticed it in the cabin. Unfortunately the trails and sauna were...

'This place is truly amazing! We were greeted by one of the owners who went over the specifics. He pointed out an eagle sitting in a nearby tree just waiting for her dinner to swim by in the river bordering the yurt. So comfy, quiet and secluded. I would definitely stay here again.'

"Nice town with interesting history like the inventor Bell who lived near the town. The hotel is good. It has a nostalgic vibe. The staff is friendly, room was clean and spacious. The wifi non existent but that’s alright. Breakfast was not included and we opted for the buffet which was $20. Quite okay these days. "
