'Lovely pub, friendly staff. We only stayed 1 night but the rooms were very clean and had everything you needed. The breakfast was cooked beautifully and really tasty. We would have had diner there but unfortunately it was the Christmas market on within Tarvin that evening so no food was served other than a stall outside. Free parking for people staying in the pub. Within a 15 min drive into Chester - Wouldn’t hesitate to go back. An enjoyable if not brief visit. '

'We visit every Christmas and the condition of the hotel gets better and better each visit. So good to see a property being invested in and maintained. The rooms, staff, food and bar are really excellent. Only very minor gripe - some smoked salmon at breakfast would be nice.'

'The room was spotless, lovely beds and pillows everything was perfect in the room, loved the Elemis products in the bathroom. Dinner was superb I recommend the Burger! Breakfast was cooked to order it was served hot and was so tasty, Claire&Olga looked after us very well, lovely ladies, Alison and the reception team made us very welcome and were very helpful, we will definitely be back! '

'Clean and comfortable room, polite staff and ideal location right in the centre of Chester. The nearest parking is only a 5-10 minute walk away and costs £8 for 24 hours. Unfortunately we didnt have chance to eat here as we only stayed 1 night and had other plans but the food being brought out to other guests did look great. Would definitely stay again!'

'Hôtel très bien situé, facilement accessible de la gare ou de la gare routière. Le centre ville n'est pas très loin non plus, les balades le long du canal sont plutôt agréables. Je recommande vivement cet établissement pour un séjour à Chester.'

'We hebben een heel fijne tijd gehad in Stone Villa. Heel aardig en behulpzaam personeel. Schone kamer, fijne badkamer. Goed ontbijt, kortom een dikke tien.'

'Lovely room, quiet, clean. We were a bit worried when we saw the hotel was on such a busy street, but once we were in our room, we heard absolutely nothing from all the noise outside. Also, a special shout out to receptionist Cassie, she is an absolute gem. She made us feel extremely welcome and our daughter was totally smitten by her. All of the staff made us feel very welcome. We will definitely be back!'
