'Lovely pub, friendly staff. We only stayed 1 night but the rooms were very clean and had everything you needed. The breakfast was cooked beautifully and really tasty. We would have had diner there but unfortunately it was the Christmas market on within Tarvin that evening so no food was served other than a stall outside. Free parking for people staying in the pub. Within a 15 min drive into Chester - Wouldn’t hesitate to go back. An enjoyable if not brief visit. '

'Very spacious and comfortable room, the bed was huge! Lovely and cosy. This is a very traditional grand hotel in the centre of Chester and was beautifully decked out for Christmas, the level of service was top notch, though we were only there for one night we were very well looked after. The carpark with direct access to the hotel was a bonus as was the complimentary continental breakfast, which was delicious and very generous. '

'Lovely room, quiet, clean. We were a bit worried when we saw the hotel was on such a busy street, but once we were in our room, we heard absolutely nothing from all the noise outside. Also, a special shout out to receptionist Cassie, she is an absolute gem. She made us feel extremely welcome and our daughter was totally smitten by her. All of the staff made us feel very welcome. We will definitely be back!'
