'Location was convenient from the airport, rooms were large, comfortable, and clean. The service at this resort is absolutely fantastic, storm who works at the front desk was a huge help coordinating things for us to do and the staff as a whole were such pleasant and polite people. Food choices were limited - but everything was fresh and delicious. The resort was also quiet and I would say more adult focused which is what we were looking for on our honeymoon. I would absolutely stay here again...
'A bit tired from the exterior but beautiful waterfront resort. Great staff and food was good. However, the bats on the trees!!! Of course not the fault of resort but the noise from 3-6 am made it very difficult to sleep. Not sure if there is a solution 😳'
'Staff were so lovely, and the food was pretty decent, but that is the only positives of the place. Accommodation was poor, electricity off from 11am-4pm daily. Can't make a hot drink or charge a phone!! The water pressure was intermittent so not always able to flush the toilet. The shower was outside and no hot water with any decent pressure. Swimming pool wasn't well maintained. No games room, just a ping pong table. Internet was absolutely awful, again intermittent...but mostly not available....
'Staff was wonderful, happy, felt like we had known them for years. We found this all over Fiji. Didn’t surf but enjoyed the near by diving. Only bummer is our Burra didn’t have hot water or only had really hot water. heater was having an issue. Staff were informed and I’m sure they are fixing it. Look to return some day to surf.'
'The unit, property and services were simply breathtaking. Great location. We were picked up at the airport, brought to the property, checked in and sitting in the unit all within 15 minutes. The amenities from the resort are easy to use and everyone was very helpful. The unit and grounds were immaculate. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property to anyone staying in Taveuni.'
'This is a great place to stay with a great family. We felt welcome from the moment we arrived, had a wonderful easy time and were very sorry to leave. This isn't a hotel or resort - it's a homestay and we really felt at home. Jale, Nita, Sia and Jima are creative, interesting and generally exceptional people and perfect hosts. They can organise lots of things for you to do, but they don't 'push' anything. It's up to you. The food was REALLY excellent - some of the best food we've eaten, ever,...
'Idyllic location on a hill overlooking the ocean with a gorgeous property and bungalow. Knox and Kelera treat their guests like family and are incredibly gracious. They made a lovo dinner for us which was delicious and Knox drove us to all of our day trip destinations filling the driving time with interesting observations about the island and history. One of the nicest vacation stays I have ever experienced. '
'Wow! Vale Sekula looked too good to be true- it was as amazing if not better than advertised! Tony (the owner) was an excellent communicator and Robert and Vinna (the caretakers) were amazing people, good at communicating and helping us arrange rides and activities, and Vinna’s cooking was top notch and fresh from her garden! Our family is a land-locked bunch that rarely has or likes fish, but Vinna made 3 fish dishes for us, and we were all licking our bowls and enjoying leftovers! The property...
'What a sparkling gem to find Helen and Peter’s place to end our stay in Fiji. Just perfect for the 2 of us. Its quiet, amazing 180 degree views of the ocean and the islands, beautiful garden with the old gracious mango tree and comfortable bed, and value for money compared to our stays in resorts. Helen arranged for delicious home cooked Fijian meals to be delivered to our door at half of the price of elsewhere You can walk to other cafes and supermarket. Peter bought us home baked bread,...
