'This house has even more space and charm than the photos convey! The house is situated on a nice, quiet street in a lovely area. I loved the roominess, tasteful decor, the screened porch and yard and more. The hosts were communicative and responsive to every need. In fact, they seemed to anticipate every need and desire ahead of time. This has been the best experience and we would stay here again and again!'

'This is a great house to rent if you are looking to ride the Spearhead Pocahontas trail or the Pocahontas Hatfield-McCoy trail. The Spearhead trail is right across the road and the Pocahontas HM connector is about a 10-15 min ride away on pavement. The home itself was very clean & roomy and had everything we needed. 'This house and property were great! It was in a good location, was easy to find, and was very peaceful and quiet. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our time here. We are all over 70, one is 83, so we were not looking to do much other than just be together and relax. We just wanted to get out of town for a couple of nights. Would recommend it to others. M.B.'

'The property sits perfectly tucked in the mountains. Wonderful scenery, we saw bald eagles perched enjoying morning coffee. The river being so close to the house makes for a very calming atmosphere. I would absolutely visit this property again.'

'This cabin is very clean and comfortable. We especially liked all the outdoor seating areas, from the chairs by the river to the upper deck with gas fireplace! Ryan was very prompt in responding to all of my questions and comments.'

'Things I liked about the property: Convenient location to many great fishing location, house old but very clean, quiet, plenty of parking, nice fridge/freezer and kitchen appliances and cooking utensils. Things I wish were better: furniture not comfortable, bed pillows were clean but not comfy, small bathroom, toilet worked but low water pressure. Would stay again and better than a hotel.'

'I was very pleased with the cleanliness. That my dogs were welcome was a great plus So much better than a hotel I was able to cook for my college student that’s been missing home cooking. We had a fabulous stay. We will absolutely stay again at some point.'

When we got there there was only one roll of toilet paper for two bathrooms.. there was only a quarter roll of paper towels in the kitchen and provided minimal basics for the kitchen. 'Property was very nice a little hairy going between the trees with a large vehicle. No handicap access. Cabin contains most of what’s needed. Some luxuries were missing as such as a table and chairs. Bring your own blankets none are furnished. Located close to town. Had a little problem with Vrbo sending us the incorrect house key numbers but we got to talk to the manager Matthew and he’s very helpful and understanding. We enjoyed our stay and the fall foliage was beautiful. Stayed three days.'

'Loved the fact that it's a "disconnected" cabin. I had just enough service to use the GPS on my phone, but not enough that my phone consumed me (like it normally does). I was pleasantly surprised at how close the cabin was to things to do and places to eat. The local food, shopping and town are so quaint and lovely! I hope we have the opportunity to return soon!'
