'We booked this hotel to have a nap in before our train departed but it turned out to be quite nice for the price. It is the cheapest hotel I've ever booked but certainly not the worst. We would have happily stayed a night if not for time constraints. The room did smell a little bit like cigarettes and the bed was Vietnamese (so hard by western standard), but again for the price we were happy with it.'

'This hotel was comfortable and was conveniently located near all of the places we wanted to see. It had a nice big functional bath tub and a comfortable (by western standards) bed. My only complaint is that the aircon seemed to shut off at night (which we actually think might have been because of a light switch we turned off near the door? Unsure) but it was a hot sleep. '

'Best view, very clean property. Staffs are super friendly and welcoming. Value for money. Love the peace and nature of it. However, we encounter road roads on the way to hotel, and need to transfer to scooters instead. Road works starts from 0730hrs to 2100hrs, so plan your trip to the city area well if you’re carrying your luggage or bulky items. I’ll give this hotel a perfect score. 'Fijn hotel. Iets buiten het centrum, maar er is een gratis shuttle beschikbaar. Geen upgrade gekregen, maar dat wordt meer dan goed gemaakt met gratis toegang tot de Spa en sauna. Kamers zijn ruim. 'Had the most gorgeous view of the mountain. The hotel is close to restaurants, cafes, city center, and tourist spots. Be sure to try the Chestnut cakes sold near the hotel. 'Chapa Farmstay is a unique experience. It's about 20 minutes from Sapa town proper which is great. Very quiet and pristine.
