'Lovely & very accommodating hosts & very good breakfasts. Room was spotless with king size bed, TV, sea views, plenty of storage space, compact ensuite, etc. The on site parking requires some care from drivers, especially if you have a large car. Town centre, pubs, railway station & beach all a short walk down the hill.'

'Our first mini break away alone, in 13 years and it didn't dissapoint. Anne is the most lovely host, so organised, courteous and kind, nothing was too much trouble. We were a little hot in the small double room, however Anne quickly provided a fan that assisted well. Breakfast was very tasty and scheduled for a time to suit us. Anne was very accommodating to my intolerances and catered with alternative milk and yoghurt. When booking I was unsure if booking the pool would be inconvenient,...

'Very clean, friendly and helpful host, great breakfast'

'Conveniently situated & serves the one of the best breakfasts in all of the travelling we’ve done over the years throughout the UK. Only one minor criticism of the room in that I found one of my pillows was flat & the other like having my head on a rock. However, my wife’s were fine, so that made everything alright as she told me to stop moaning😉 Our thanks to the owner Peter for the recommendation for the best fish...

'We had lovely time staying at the Cleveland Hotel. The room was excellent and the staff was very helpful.'

'The Berberry is a great place to stay, just 10 minutes walk from the station or the seafront, and offers a very comfortable bed with a great breakfast to set you up for the day ahead!!! We were warmly welcomed, and the information Steve shared about local restaurants helped us to find some delicious seafood even on a bank holiday weekend!! Wendy’s delicious homemade cake was a lovely addition to a relaxing cuppa in the garden on our arrival, and the breakfast menu covers all tastes, including...
