'This place was perfect. It had the lake view of Lake Tekapo, and an accessible door to walk straight out to the lake. It was directly across the bridge and had the most scenic view. The room was spacious. Loved the heated restroom floors and towel heaters. It was so close to the food area and gas station, about a 5 minute walk. Love the accessibility to everything. The staff was extremely helpful with the checkin. Couldnt have had a much easier experience. '

'We stayed in one of the new refurbished rooms with a view of the lake and it was absolutely perfect! Ideal to have two beds when travelling with a child, very clean, warm and comfortable. Beautiful bathroom and excellent on site facilities. The lounge with the cosy fire was so nice and breakfast was huge and delicious! Definitely don't let negative reviews put you off. Obviously we don't know what the older rooms are like, but I cannot fault the refurbished room. '
