The residence was wonderful, relaxing, and felt like our home away from home. I would have gladly sell my house and move here. The staff also responded to any questions we had very quickly. My whole family has only positive memories here. I will say, if ur sensitive to noise while sleeping, its not a bad idea to move ur futon away from the windows. Some street...

'Als we zes sterren konden geven dan kreeg dit hotel ze zeker! We kwamen wat vroeg aan (10.30u) en mochten meteen inchecken. TOP! Kregen vervolgens een gratis koffietje in een super leuk barretje naast het hotel. TOP! De kamer was mooi opgezet en erg netjes. TOP! Het ontbijt was heerlijk en het personeel was super behulpzaam. TOP! Kortom, we zouden dit hotel zeker weer boeken. Het ligt namelijk ook erg centraal en is qua prijs/ kwaliteit ook goed.'

'You can’t do much better than this when staying in Takayama. Right next to the station and walking distance to key attractions. The family suite was amazing and my daughters loved the camping play room and projector. The breakfast was perfect and the staff couldn’t be any more helpful. Great value stay!'

'Prima hotel. Ruime kamer met wasdroog-combinatie. Onsen was ook prima, net als lounge boven. Ontbijt was een klein beetje druk en chaotisch, maar we werden snel geholpen. Tip: misschien een droogrek op de kamer met knijpers? TV ging steeds automatisch aan. Bar was niet gezellig zo, dus misschien daarom al eerder dicht.'

The service from the very beginning to the end of our 2 days stay is absolutely top of the class and very traditional Japanese style. You are literally spoiled staying with this lovely ''Ryokan" style hotel. The dinner and breakfast is such a feast! Simply great! The location of this hotel is another bonus. It's right in the middle of the town where the old streets start. Everything is just perfect!!'
