'Outstanding stay here! Very clean and aesthetically appealing hotel. Great mountain cabin vibes. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Each room had a small balcony with an incredible view. Off-street parking was available. We were able to walk directly from the hotel into great hikes in the mountains and also walk easily to restaurants and grocery store. Wonderful visit here.'

'Casa da Fonte is nestled in one of the sweetest villages within Gerês. This place was a good value for price. However, we had major issues with check in. We sent inquiries about check in days before and received no response. We didn’t get our check in information until after the check in time, forcing us to sit in a fierce, cold rain storm. The place smelled like cigarettes and the host is not on site/wasn’t responsive. However, we may have been a one off. Everybody has a bad day and we hope...

'This place is just beautiful! Right on the Camino. My room was large, with chairs, AC and a great shower. Comfy bed and pillows. There is a garden to sit in, as well as a lounge area indoor and outdoor. It was quiet. And the staff! They were so kind and helpful. Had dinner there, which was delicious. And drinks are available at a reasonable price. I would definitely stay here again!'
