'Nice resort, we liked the room and loved sitting on the balcony, it had just a lovely view overlooking the beath. Very easy to find and close to Nanaimo, it's a 30 minute ride to the ferry.'

'Tuwanek hotel has gorgeous views from the top floor rooms and is incredibly romantic at sunset. Stayed in the Casablanca room and the massive room has a king bed, full body shower and claw foot tub. The hotel also allows you to use their Kayaks & paddle boards on the water in their backyard. This place has a very unique setup for their hot tub underneath a bunch of grape vines that add such a cool atmosphere while enjoying the tub. There's also a steam cave, bbq, smoker, multiple areas to relax...

'The location was convenient being along the highway yet the noise from the road wasn’t noticeable inside the room. There were lots of walking trails, beaches and shops to check out nearby. The room was comfortable, simple and clean. I felt safe as a solo female traveler and would book this motel again if I’m ever in the area again. Oh and the lady at the front desk was very friendly! '

'We stayed in the two-bedroom suite with a kitchen. It was fully renovated, and we really enjoyed our stay. Everything was clean, and the breakfast was good. The lady at the front desk was helpful and kindly provided us with a few bags of coffee, creamer, and sugar upon request. Everything was perfect for our stay, heating worked well, there was hot water, and all the kitchen appliances were functioning properly. We would definitely recommend this place.'

'We liked the cleanliness, old antiqes and lay out. Very nice employees. I think the staff is pleasant and helpful. I think when people are booking they should ask if there is any elderly in there party because the rooms have many stairs to climb and no elevator. This is fair because I had a hard time getting to our room and my granddaughter had to make three trips with our belongings. Thats my only oncern for others. Otherwise it is an excellent place.'
