'Amazing place and staff very kind and polite'

'Lovely quiet location on the edge of Cartmel with good road connections to the tourist areas of the Lakes. The place was spotless and well equipped but they really do only include bedding, towels and loo roll. Whatever else you need make sure you take it with you. It lacked hanging space for clothes in the bedroom and any place to put your cases. We were surprised it was a semi detached building, we could hear a lot of noise, especially doors closing in the attached unit. I would still recommend...

'It’s alright for the price. Beautiful old main building but the rooms in the external properties (which it wasn’t clear we’d booked) were very basic, almost youth hostel style. The thermal journey in the spa was a bit of a let down. Quite a small area and very busy. The price said it included slippers but it didn’t and it felt a little like a living Petri dish. The location is great though. Worth crossing over the railway to get to the track near the beach for a walk/run. We did that twice...

'From the first welcome to the final farewell, it was a joy to stay there. Substantive breakfasts, pet friendly, old manor house setting with great views. Good choice of relatively local (less than 10 miles) public houses for evening fare. Already hoping to get back there when next visiting the Lakes, which start only six miles north.'

'We liked the space that the apartment had and the location of the property. The apartment was very quiet and had all the amenities we needed including the kitchen area. We also liked the garden at the back of the property. We will book again when we come back to Ulverston.'

'oud verblijf, netjes en compleet ingericht, vriendelijk. Geen hoogvlieger maar een goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. Geselecteerd op parkeermogelijkheid....dus niet. Langs de weg in het dorp of op een betaalde parkeerplaats uit het zicht. '

'Yes the staff was friendly my husband had a medical emergency staff did up and beyond there duty had the same room for extra nights while my husband was in hospital couldn’t do enough in making my still was saved and se cure .Did not get to the spa but I would books holiday there again in a heart beat.breakfast had lovely options '

'Absolutely fabulous room with spectacular views of the sea.A very warm welcoming from Kyle who could of been any more pleasant or helpfull.The room recently refurbished was immaculate Lovely large comftable bed with large tv screen and a wonderful bathroom.No bar or restaurant or breakfasts but many eating places close by .Highly reccomended'
