'What a lovely location and quiet place to stay after a day in Cradle mountain NP. So close you can go in the park early before shuttle starts. There are few hotels available so we picked this one and are not disappointed. Price is on a high side but expected. Dinner need reservation if you want to be in the dining room but food is good. 'Fantantische lodge, ideaal gelegen om de cradle mountains te verkennen. De kamers zijn groot, verzorgd en mooi ingericht. Gezellige setting. Zeer goed restaurant, fantastische ontbijt en goede service! Er liggen een aantal mooie wandel tracks net achter de lodge. '

'We really loved the stay in Highlander Cottages. There are more cottages at this site, but it felt like we were staying alone in the forest. Although wooden constructions the quality was high, a kitchen block, small living room, dining table, comfortable beds fireplace and modern bath room. We would definitely return. '
