'We LOVED staying here on our visit to Chicago. The hotel is quiet, the rooms are very comfortable, our host, Jose, was impeccable. The morning breakfast choices were just right. There is a nice clean frig that we used to stash some of our personal items that is allowed as well as access to a nice outside area with tables. My ONLY suggestion to the hotel ( and I do mean only) is that the pillows were flat that suited my back sleeping husband but slightly below par for side sleepers like me. Even...

'This place was very different and unique; a true B&B experience. Parking was difficult, but once we got our spot we used public transportation everywhere. The nearest bus stop and train station are a ten minute walk. After we got our room we were given a tour of the property and told of all the amenities available to us (of which there were several).'

Bad om in te douchen is ook niet meer van deze tijd. Weinig ruimte om je spullen en handdoeken op te hangen in badkamer. Verder ontbijt in Somerset was prima a la carte. 'Upscale amazing stay in trendy neighborhood in Chcago. Walking distance to coffee shops, great restaurants. The amenities were beyond what I expected/ great lap pool, hot tubs, sauna steam room and amazing gym with enough equipment to do a full strength training workout. We will stay here again!'

'This hotel is traditional, old style in room, bed and utilities. But it nice enough to be cleaned. Location is excellent near cafes, restaurants and supermarkets.'

'Me and my girlfriend stayed here for two nights. Overall, I think that we enjoyed our stay, but there were a few things that peeved us. The biggest thing was that though hot water just wouldn’t turn off no matter what we tried. The water was scolding hot so we were unable to use the shower. Also, the customer service was a little poor with no one being on site. Help was hard to come by if they fix the water issue and maybe had a bit more responsiveness I would easily rate them four stars, but...

'The room did not look like the photos used online- later found that the photos used were of newly renovated rooms in the building. Theirs is no parking like it claims as well, had to park on the street and pay for street parking and it was terrifying as a female alone walking back from my car at night.'

The only things that were done were replacing towels and emptying the trash bins. For a stay of several days, you expect much more. It is also ridiculous that, on top of the already expensive room rate, you are required to pay a very high resort fee while receiving almost nothing in return. 'The room was simple, but functional. Unfortunately, the window was not secure, and as a result, there was an unusually high amount of outside road noise and street noise that was audible in the room, which prevented me from getting a decent night sleep.'
