'Er kwam weinig water uit de douche waardoor je niet normaal kan douchen. Lijkt erop dat ze waterbesparing iets te ver doorgevoerd hebben'

'De kamer was heel netjes en schoon. Het ontbijt was goed en alle mensen in het hotel waren zo vriendelijk! Een heel fijn verblijf gehad!'

'nice place to stop over for a couple of days and enjoy the environments. Staff was very helpful. Restaurant just across from the hotel, serving excellent food (although portions could have been slightly larger to my liking). But as said: food was very good, so shouldn't complain. Weather was incredibly hot, and the room doesn't have airconditioning. It does come with a fan, which did help somewhat. And the weather was exceptionally hot last weekend. No noise from across the street or from the...

'Mooi kasteel wat toch speciaal is. Goed ontbijt. Geen aircondioning en venstert kan maar 20 cm open, dus veel te warm.'

'No air-conditioning. (Just in case you need it.) A fan was supplied in the room and like the room could do with a good clean. Dresser glass top you could see the dust laying on top. Chair provided also had food remains, hair and dust from previous guests. Bed matress should have been retired many ,many guests ago. Springs digging in and undulating as lay. 'Van buiten een beetje gedateerd van binnen is het wel oké.'

'Inchecken ging heel snel'

'It has to be said that the house and grounds are superb and Met my desire to have my friend wake up on her 80th birthday in palatial surroundings. However I have just been informed at the end of breakfast that it is not included in my Expedia booking! There is no warning of that whatsoever and I think that it is deceitful and deceptive. '

'We really like staying at the Feathers we have stayed here a number of times. There is everything you need. The rooms are comfortable with a lovely selection of teas, coffee, biscuits with the option of collecting fresh milk from the bar. There is an iron in the room. The bar & restaurant are good with good selection of cocktails & wine. The staff are friendly & helpful The location is good for visiting family in Hertford and travelling to London via the A10. Good value for money too'

'Jammer dat er geen luchthavenshuttle is.'
