'We arrived late but the owner was waiting for us and made us feel welcome even though we arrived late to check in. The rooms are very comfortable and the building is quiet. Right by the water, the area surrounding it is perfect. The included breakfast had everything we needed and more. Highly recommend. '

'Breakfast was home made and served with elegance. Our hostess, Donna, was wonderful and very knowledgeable of places to visit. Bed was comfortable, internet access was secure and we had our own transportation but most of the downtown is walkable if you are able. We would certainly recommend the Dawson House as a go to place to stay.'

'Extremely friendly staff who really took the time to show all the areas of the house and where complementary food and drinks can be found, day and night (coffee/tea) or sodas for a small fee. Great hospitality. Room was good. Clean and with all the necessities. Breakfast was great and plenty of choices. Would recommend this location. '

'Tout était parfait ou presque…il y avait même une borne de recharge pour les véhicules électriques! Seul bémol pour les gens qui ne parlent exclusivement que le français personne ne parlait français mais ce n’était pas un problème pour nous. Près de tout à pieds donc très beau séjour de 2 nuits. 450$/nuits c’est très cher mais en 2025 ça l’air que c’est ça à Charlottetown….et à noter pas d’ascenseur pour ceux qui ont beaucoup de valises ou à mobilité réduite! '

'Lovely heritage property beautifully restored. The Cook's" room had a nice sitting area, great bathroom with large shower, very comfortable beds. The breakfast was delicious in the heritage dining room. Staff were very friendly.'

'We were only in PEI for 2 days, touring Anne of Green Gables house and the Cavendish cliffs which were beautiful. Andy is a super host—friendly and so helpful. We had lovely breakfasts in the dining room every morning with both hot items (eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, even dumplings) and fresh juice and fruit. We would definitely stay in Andy’s Blue House if we’re lucky enough to visit PEI again.'

'Great hotel in a convenient location . Close to shopping, restaurants, etc. We were upgraded to a nice room on the ground floor with a little outdoor patio and a couple of chairs. Room was clean and modern. No carpets which is always a good feature for cleanliness. Big tv was awesome. We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend.'
