'On my first day as soon as I checked in a dog was continuously barking to the point I had to report it. Same day at 3:00AM a fire alarm was blaring asking everyone to evacuate the hotel. I was on the ninth floor! When we got to the third floor the stairs were blocked and no instructions as to how to proceed, so we had to reenter the floor and use another exit. All that to be told it was a false alarm. The lack of security and safety was non existent. My room had a connecting door and the noise...

'This hotel is simply amazing. Everything is perfect about it. 10/10 ! Thank you !'

'Hotel is ok in general, location is great, restaurant is good, terras is super. Check-in went fast but totally wrong. Suddenly there were other guests in my room, double booked. Then my room card was not working anymore. Booked 3 rooms, all 3 rooms overcharged by 100usd. At the end they fixed all the issues but had to go to reception multiple times. Elevators are a hell, sometimes you have to wait up to 10 minutes to get an elevator. The staff is very nice and helpfull but some finetuning is...

'This was one of my better experiences at a hotel! The staff was so friendly and the location was perfect! The room and entire property was extremely clean! I will for sure be staying here during all my future San Antonio trips!!'

'Disappointing Stay – Poor Cleanliness and Guest Experience We recently stayed at Ranch Motel in San Antonio, and unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. The retro concept is cute, but the condition of the property tells a different story. Our room felt so dirty that we weren’t comfortable walking barefoot. The shower floor was peeling, the walls were poorly maintained, and there was visible rust and deterioration throughout the property. There’s a difference between vintage charm and...

'Our stay at The Monarch San Antonio during the Day of the Dead parade weekend was disappointing, especially for the price. Check-in was painfully slow, with only one employee working despite the busy weekend. Dining was concerning because there was no allergen menu. With a serious tree nut allergy, simply being told food contains no nuts isn’t reassuring. Proper allergy precautions matter. At the bar, we waited 45 minutes while being repeatedly overlooked as guests arriving after us were...

'There are plenty of amenities nearby, so you don't need to go anywhere else.'

'Didn’t spend much time for the hotel was nice and the room was clean. I loved the toiletries selection'

'Nice hotel at the right location of San Antonio. Just a few minutes from the river walk and a few steps from the Alamo. Nice and clean rooms. Breakfast is good if you want breakfast burritos. The bar (all say happy hour) was a bit boring. Staff was friendly. The valet was pretty expensive, but that's the same at all hotels.'

'Price quality out of proportion. Hotel needs an update. Large rooms. Elevator very noisy. Lack of visible staff. pool facilities are very nice. '
