'From the time we arrived until we left the next morning everything was perfect! Audrey who checked us in showed us the entire property and was so friendly and helpful. I called the day before we arrived to confirm our reservation and mentioned that it was my husband’s birthday. When Audrey took us to our room there was a complimentary bottle of wine waiting. 'My wife and I came for her birthday. We’ve always wanted to try a B&B and this was our first one. The staff were beyond wonderful. The food and the atmosphere were fantastic. The property is so clean and comfortable so it was really easy to relax. We were in The Jane on the third floor and thankfully they have an elevator as I am recovering from an injury and stairs are very difficult for me. I enjoyed the room and it was clean with a very comfortable bed that we really enjoyed relaxing in....

'Great historic hotel right on the river bank. The room was nice with a good size bathroom. The bed was a bit soft for our taste, but otherwise comfortable. There is not really a lot of shelve space, so if you're not travelling light, you might struggle to unpack. Every room has a nice terras. The pool is clean, but unheated. Breakfast is at The Mermaid Cafe, 2 door down from the hotel, and it can get very busy there later in the morning. Come early if you want a guaranteed table. Coffee and tea...

'Overall i didn't think this property was as good as it was rated. Our room wasnt very clean upon arrival, we had to ask 3 days in a row for house keeping to come and they only delivered towels, no cleaning. They put in a special request for full housekeeping the day before we left (out of 7) Breakfast was just ok, nothing special, typical with limited healthy options,. The Starbucks on site is also only a partial starbucks only doing the basics. The pool is small but overlooks the ocean....

'I booked a partial ocean view room . I received a room with no view at all and a sealed shut sliding door that was a view of a walkway extra entrance to the building . People walking in at all times. Ceiling in one area was by door falling down. I thought since it was by Wyndham it would be a nice room for an overnight stay. I went to front desk to ask about switching or just canceling snd she gave me such an attitude. I stayed but never again. My experience doesn’t mean other rooms are not nice...
