'This hotel was not much more than a motel 6. It was filthy, old and in much need of repair. There was a roach in the tub which I took a picture of. The safety bar in the tub is hardly attached. The TV only worked using the physical button on the TV. Remote did not work. Couldn't change channel or volume. Breakfast at 8am was cold and old. They could not make more eggs. I couldn't find any help to even get a napkin. Carpets were dirty. Elevator made scary noises and fridge made loud noise all...

'Great place. The staff, location and family atmosphere makes Captains Cove the perfect location for an old fashioned family beach vacation. After 15 years of visiting it feels like staying with friends and not just a hotel. I’ll be back soon!'

'So many postiives to write here. 1-the location is superb. One block from the water and a couple of blocks walk to some of the best restaurants in town. The Oyster bar was so good we visited twice. 2- The B and B is perfect. A very warm host who instantly made you feel at home. 'Everyone was very very nice. We were only staying over night and they allowed us to come before check in and park in the lot. We were able to have a day out on the beach waiting for check in! Also they let us use the pool even though we technically hadn’t checked in. Would have loved an ice machine but there are many place within walking distance. Love how they had a real key!
