The scent of the lobby was delightful -, beds were a little smaller then expected but everything else made up for it- outdoor pool was saltwater and freshening but very quiet area breakfast was a charge but delicious'

'Everything worked great; the room was appropriately appointed, clean and the staff was great. But the property is experiencing some deferred maintenance - toilet seat was deteriorating, the gym equipment was old, window was missing a screen - and there's not really anything around. It has a restaurant and that's great, but nothing else. That said, it's a great price/value for the area and I would likely stay again should the need arise.'

'Good location, close to Norwalk but in a very quiet and peaceful area. Even with ongoing renovation, we had a great stay and enjoyed the pool and breakfast (not-included).
This doesn't affect review and it was situational but the fire alarm was triggered while we were at the pool (6pm) but everything was back to normal in 10 minutes.'

'When we chrcked in the lady at the counter was not very friendly and helpful. We had to pay a deposit, but my creditcard did not work. She told me 2 times that it did not work, but did not help me at all. And every time we passed her in the next days and greeted her, she didn't say anything back. Luckily the other people were friendly and helpful.
The room and the bed were great. It was a pity that the windows could not be opened, I like to sleep with te windows open. '

'My stay was great at Stamford Marriott. We had a leak in our first room that required us to move. To compensate they put us in a junior suite. As well, they gave us gift cards for the Starbucks in the lobby. No matter what staff it was they were friendly, professional and helpful. Anton and his staff in the restaurant for breakfast each morning were exceptional. '
