'Stay was great after switching my room. Hotel tried to give me a smaller room/bed vs what I booked. The first room had a broken AC, was 80 deg and none of the lights worked. Front desk corrected right away. Been here before so I was surprised at the mishap. New room was normal (great).

'This hotel offers amazing value!! I left a hotel in the area which cost $200 more per night and I honestly liked this hotel more. Staff is very friendly and accommodating, great room (microwave, fridge, coffee maker, 2 queens beds, etc), indoor swimming pool, free parking, free breakfast and literally right next door to Stamford Diner! Property is doing some upgrades but still well worth the price, will stay here every time. '

But the property is experiencing some deferred maintenance - toilet seat was deteriorating, the gym equipment was old, window was missing a screen - and there's not really anything around. It has a restaurant and that's great, but nothing else. That said, it's a great price/value for the area and I would likely stay again should the need arise.'

'When we chrcked in the lady at the counter was not very friendly and helpful. We had to pay a deposit, but my creditcard did not work. She told me 2 times that it did not work, but did not help me at all. And every time we passed her in the next days and greeted her, she didn't say anything back. Luckily the other people were friendly and helpful.
The room and the bed were great. It was a pity that the windows could not be opened, I like to sleep with te windows open. '

'My stay was great at Stamford Marriott. We had a leak in our first room that required us to move. To compensate they put us in a junior suite. As well, they gave us gift cards for the Starbucks in the lobby. No matter what staff it was they were friendly, professional and helpful. Anton and his staff in the restaurant for breakfast each morning were exceptional. '
