'Helaas viel het hotel tegen. De ontbijt ruimte is veel te klein voor alle gasten, de helft is steeds op en ze beginnen ruim voor 9uur al op te ruimen. De schoonmaakster vergeet elke dag werk iets. Dan geen nieuwe koffie, geen schone handdoeken of geen toiletpapier. Ook bij zwembad geen handdoeken, daar moest je dan eerst weer naar vragen.
Je mag van een Marriott echt wel meer verwachten!'

It was convenient having walkable gas station and food places in the area. Also the fact that the entire hotel is 100% smoke free was a huge plus for us! I definitely recommend this place and it was a great deal on the nightly rate.'

'We had a lovely, relaxing stay at this gem nestled next to Garden of the Gods. The property is beautiful and the staff is very welcoming and knowledgeable about the history behind the hotel. They were doing construction on the castle when we were there so we could only see the first floor. We stayed in one of the lodges. The rooms are simple and clean. Great for an affordable getaway and home base while you explore Manitou and the surrounding area.'

'We stayed here on our way to Breckenridge. This is a phenomenal location. We did a big grocery pickup on our way out at Walmart, Trader Joe's and Sam's Club and everything you could possibly need is less than 10 min apart and right near the hotel.

Everything from the room to the beds the TV the bathroom, the pool, the iced pineapple water, and the delicious breakfast and the gorgeous Mountain View. We will definitely be coming back. Upon checking in in the afternoon, front-desk informed us that nok room was available, except for a suite that would be way more expensive. When being overbooked, you expect a hotel to offer the suite at the same rate as the originally booked room. This did not happen, even not after talking to the front-office manager. It’s such a shame for such a beautiful property.
If you charge the rates of a 5 star, 5 diamond hotel, then you should also deliver this service standard.
With more care, better trained and professional employees and by going above and beyond this can be a great place, but based on our experience we will never come back.
