Only "gripes" are - four poster bed is a *little* small, it's the equivalent of a small double bed. Also, the shower doesn't have much power.
It's an older, historical property, so do factor that into a stay.
As highlighted above though, the staff were brilliant, and the (included) breakfast was sublime.

Aylsham is a gorgeous place to visit and the unique ships, range of restaurants and warm welcome from the people who live and work there have left a really positive and heart warming impression on me. I’ll definitely be returning and look forward to seeing the new developments there as it really is a place that’s growing and developing. '

'The Plough is a good class pub with clean, modern rooms. What makes them special is that it's such a friendly place to stay and the pub food is excellent. We were there for five days and I could have done with a few more to work my way through the menu. We'll also certainly miss their breakfasts.
It is situated well for visiting Norwich and the Norfolk Coast.
It's true that you can hear the busy road with the window open, but hey, life's a compromise and we'll happily take that.'

The room was beautifully decorated , clean and comfortable.
Nice big mugs for tea and coffee aand spares in the corridor if needed which was a thoughtful touch.
The breakfast was continental (cooked only available on the Sunday morning) but was sufficient and nicely presented.

'Lovely room. Ours was at the top, it was a hot night and heat rises! We did have the windows open but it’s quite a busy road so lots of road noise. The blind also let in a lot of light too and if light sensitive there was a bright green light shinning in the ceiling. Bed very comfortable as were the pillows. Restaurant packed and the food was good. I had the roast and my husband had the mutton curry - huge potions. Staff very helpful and smiley but rushed off their feet. '
'Property has an incredible view of the sea and takes just 1 minute to get down to a lovely quiet beach. Staff were really friendly. Bed was very comfy and shower worked really well. Water bottles and biscuits were dropped off each day outside our door. The breakfast included in the price of the room was really nice. '
