'I loved the convenience of the location to Loyola university. It was walking distance. The host was very nice and responsive. I loved that there were snack and breakfast left out in the kitchen for guest to consume at their leisure. What I did not like was the steep long stairs to get up to the rooms. There was not an elevator or anyone available to help get the luggage up to the rooms. If you are elderly with knees or back problems, this will be difficult for you to deal with on a daily...

'Perfect hotel, only minus was that internet signal was sometimes not sting. Maybe because I was at the 11th floor Breakfast was good value for money, however plenty of breakfast alternatives around. '

'Great Staff & great location for Chicago Visit'

'The room was not clean and very unsanitary. Upon arrival, we found lots of dirty and bloody tissues behind the cabinet and fridge. When asked to change rooms, the front desk associate advised it was too late and we would have to speak with a manager the next morning. There was a lot of noise coming from the rooms next to us and below us. We spoke to the manager the next morning and showed him the photos of the unsanitary conditions of the room. He was apologetic. I demanded an early check out...

'Rooms were clean and staff was friendly. My son loved the pool and hot tub…it gave resort vibes. Ordered food at Bar Louie, the restaurant in the lobby. Food was great, however the service was slow. We would stay here again the next time we’re in Chicago.'

'Dorothy's place was great for my needs! As a single traveler, I only needed one room for one night. The premises was clean, close to Wrigley Field, and served its purpose. It was also a relatively affordable rate given area hotels. I would definitely stay here again!'

'This may be the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The neighborhood is great, but the hotel is a repurposed apartment building and rooms have multiple bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, W/D, balcony. AMAZING. Clean, sleek, updated, perfect. I wish there was one of these in every city in the world.'
