'The hotel was beautiful and the pool was great. Unfortunately the staff seemed miserable. Barely smiled or looked at me through check in. Also, coffee bar wasn’t replenished so didn’t get any coffee on my second morning. Not the best experience when you are expecting a nicer hotel. Also, a breakfast buffet was advertised but non existent, only a bar style restaurant near the lobby.'

'What makes this property special are Elsa and Brian who made a personal effort to provide good service. From helping with the door key, to carrying luggage and providing room service for dinner they went the extra mile and it makes a difference. The room and bathroom were very clean. Good value for money. The property is not fancy but I’m very glad we chose it as it was a positive rather than neutral experience on our journey.'
