'We stayed at the cottage and it was absolutely stunning. Plenty of room. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The garden was amazing with our own outdoor fireplace. Even during loadshedding there was still light, water and wifi 😉. And every day we could play with the dogs. The food was really amazing. The chef makes delicious dishes. Host Annie is also the best, she knows what her guests like. You can ask her anything, nothing is impossible. We would definitely go back!'

'Het kamp ligt op een private game reserve met ook andere eigenaren. Schitterend afgelegen (autorit kan een uitdaging zijn zonder 4x4), service is geweldig en de kok kookt heerlijk! 's ochtends een zebra bij het ontbijt aan de waterpoel, 's avonds een braai aan het kampvuur, geweldig verblijf gehad! 'Simbavati river lodge is een fantastische om te verblijven op een super mooie locatie in het timbavati reserve. De service is echt uitstekend en alles wordt voor je geregeld. Door de locatie komen er geregeld dieren bij de lodge langs of drinken wat het nog leuker maakt. Echt een top verblijf'

'Our entire stay here was fantastic! The staff is all very welcoming and you feel like you are family while staying here. There are 5 rooms, so it is quiet and quaint. 'Vorweg muss man sagen: Wir hatten schlechtes Wetter. 20 Grad, Sturm und etwas Regen erwartet man einfach im Sommer nicht. Auf den Games Drives haben wir z.T. gefroren… Aber wir haben Löwen mit Jungen gesehenen, was absolut toll war, und ein Black Rhino, was wirklich sehr selten ist. Aber ansonsten muss ich sagen, dass wir doch von Timbavati Gebiet etwas enttäuscht waren. 'The place is lovely and me and my lady enjoyed it. The only issue I had was the bed, it was not that comfortable, same goes to the pillows, they where big. Oh and board needs some attention because when you walk inside the tent your partner got to wake up because they squicky. But nevertheless I enjoyed it, even proposed and she said yes'

Le guide à finalement donné beaucoup d'explications mais dans un anglais un peu difficile à comprendre. 'Just a beautiful part of the world in a quiet bush sanctuary. The accommodation, setting, ease of communication and overall experience was exceptional. The only complaint I have is with myself for having not booked for longer. I’ll most certainly return.'
