'Absolutely beautiful cottage and surrounding countryside. My husband, son, daughter-in-law and two granddaughters (18 mo & 3 yrs were very comfortable. The amenities were excellent and Laura was very sweet…loved the goodies left for us! We took lots of amazing walks…favorite was the “Winnie-the-Pooh” walk in Ashdown forest nearby. Would highly recommend for a quiet, relaxing stay close to Haywards Heath village.'

'Had an absolutely amazing stay at this property. Sid ( our Labrador ) had the time of his life. The photos are accurate. It far exceeded our expectations especially with being dog friendly. Will definitely be booking again. Walking distance to the beach, pub, chip shop and kebab/pizza shop. Short drive to a couple of restaurants. We tried the Conquerers March had a really lovely meal there and the staff were really friendly and went the extra mile especially Dawn.'

'What a fantastic stay. We chose this property as we needed to vacate our home whilst work was being done, but it ended up so much more than just a place to lay our heads. The location, near the main road was ideal, but actually very quiet, as it was set down a hill. Pauline, the owner, couldn't have been more accomodating, finding extra parking for us and sorting out things very quickly. The location was brilliant, especially for our 2 dogs who loved the peaceful walks in the near vacinity'

'We had a wonderful stay in the Cart Lodge cottage. Location was perfect - easily accessible from the main yet very quiet and secure with plenty of parking. Cottage had everything we needed - including very comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen (we cooked multiple times) and a cozy sitting room. Best feature: the sheep! Loved watching them from the window and feeding them digestive biscuits in the morning. We would definitely stay again.'
