'The house was huge and very private. The views were great from the house. Easy to get to downtown Merida and wineries from the house. Hosts were very friendly and communicative. '

'The host is very attentive and eager for you to enjoy your stay. We liked being in the country. The kitchen is well equipped and the property is very close to a big grocery store. I think this location gives you good access to nearby areas (Serra Mamede for example) well as the points of interest in Portalegre. We really enjoyed the textile museum. Aida provided us with jams, oranges, and croissants for breakfast. It was a nice stay.'

'Very unique place near (or perhaps in) the old Jewish quarter of Castello da Vide. The drive to get here is along the narrow streets of the town so best to have a mid size car or smaller. The property is neat! You have stairs but it adds tons of charm and character. Kitchen is terrific. Best part would be 1.) proximity to castle and Jewish quarter 2.) views from your window and patio! Worth a visit.'

'Best hosts ever. Was greeted by owner's father and mother. We were shown the property and asked if we wanted a fire lit while we were out seeing the ruins. And we had a warm cozy home to return to. Homemade marmalade, wonderful cheese and meats. Homemade pound cake, good thing we only stayed one night we could get fat.'

'We had a wonderful stay at Susana’s villa during our relaxing family holidays. The place is very private, well equipped, exceptionally clean, good wifi (best outside on terrace) nice furniture, atmosphere and the pool (cleaned 3x a week) is a big plus, the artificial grass ideal to play and the view is just amazing!!! Enough shaded places with comfortable seats and 2 loungebeds to cool down during the heatwave we experienced. The beds were very comfortable for Spanish standards. (We had a...
