When snow or ice is in the forecast, all -wheel (AWD) or 4WD is strongly recommended. The main road is plowed but the driveway is not.
Mountain storms/ or winter storms can occasionally knock out the grid power. No need to worry- our backup generator kicks in automatically within 10-15 seconds, restoring essential power to: Heat (furnace) refrigerator, selected lights and outlets (marked with red stickers), well pump (water stays on).
Wildlife is active (deer, elk, bears) ; secure trash and don't leave food outside.

Please note that while we take great care in cleaning the home before and each stay, this property is not guaranteed to be allergen-free.
There were pets in the past and despite multiple professional deep cleanings, it's possible that trace amounts of pet hair, dander or other allergens may still be present.
Additionally we use scented cleaning products, laundry detergent and wall plug air fresheners to keep the home smelling fresh. These scents can be noticeable (some guests love them others find them strong). Unfortunately we cannot remove or change for individual bookings.
If you or anyone in your party has severe allergies (to pets, dust, fragrance, perfume or laundry products) this home may not be suitable for you. We want you to have a safe and comfortable stay, so please take this into consideration before bookings.
