Ontspan en laad op bij Nuestra Casita Cerca del Mar

  • Ontworpen en gebouwd door de bekende Mexicaans-Amerikaanse architect Roberto Moreno in 2000. Mooi op maat gebouwd 3 slaapkamers, 2 badkamers tri-level strandhuis met prachtig 180 graden uitzicht op de oceaan, een hoofdniveau terras en een dakterras. Slaapkamer heeft een kingsize bed en een eigen badkamer. Twee extra slaapkamers hebben een koningin, een tweepersoonsbed en een eenpersoonsbed.

    De plattegrond is zeer open en licht. De keuken is volledig gevuld met alle keukengerei en potten en pannen, koffiezetapparaat en beddengoed. Er is een vaatwasser, broodrooster, mixer en magnetron. Gas BBQ is beschikbaar.

    Las Gaviotas voelt als een klein mediterraan dorp. Deze gated community, opgericht in 1973, heeft 24-uurs bewakers en is een van de mooiste kuststroken op heel Baja. De geplaveide kustweg bestaat uit fonteinen, tuinen, een putting green, toegang tot twee privéstranden, vloedgolven bij eb en prachtig uitzicht op de oceaan. Een nieuw opgedoken tennisbaan is beschikbaar voor gasten, evenals poolshuffle board en beachvolleybal op het privéstrand.

We had a great stay in Las Gaviotas! The house was just as listed, perfect for our stay. The water heater was broken when we arrived but someone who works in the neighborhood was able to help us fix it. Thank you for a lovely time!

The Casita was wonderful, cozy and clean. Our host, very attentive, available (via text) at any time we needed her. Thank you Cindy. Sunsets at la terraza were amazing. The weather was just perfect. I wished the beach area was bigger. Lots of rocks!

We had a wonderful stay at Nuestra Casita, it was exactly how described and even better! Loved the layout of the house and the views were amazing. We sat in the morning and evenings on the rooftop deck and took it all in! The facilities were also amazing - really hot jacuzzi, pool temp was perfect, we played shuffle board every day and the taco stands at the pool served AMAZING food. It was our first time in Las Gaviotos and we loved it and will certainly return to Nuestra Casita! Thanks for having us!!

Amazing stay

We have stayed at Gaviotas many times over the years and this is one of our favorites of all time. The unit is super clean, cutely decorated, well stocked and has amazing views. The owner communicated well and made our stay super easy. We will definitely be back!

Great place in a great location

Nice comfortable place for family to stay in a secure, gated community on the beach. Good location with ocean view, clean and family friendly. Las Gaviotas is a great community with lots to do, easy beach access and a pool. Check in process was easy, and unit had everything we needed for our weekend trip. Would definitely recommend.

Gaviotas Gem

The house is in a great location, the next best thing to being ocean front. You can see the break from the decks and it is a short walk to the water front. The house is well stocked, cutely decorated and very comfortable. Highly recommend.

Beautiful community

I would definitely stay here again!! The house was a lot bigger in person, very spacious for a group of 6, clean, the beach and pool are a short walk away, the ocean view from the rooftop is beautiful, the community itself has a Spanish colonial style, and it is gated with strict guards which makes you feel 100% safe. You can find food vendors at the pool area, the seafood vendor has fresh seafood and fruits, and they accept apple pay!! Overall it was a great place to stay.

Easy access and great location

This location is close enough to the US border that it's not a crazy drive, but far enough away that you don't deal with all the traffic and people. It is also easy to find/get to. I took my family for a week to enjoy surfing and the beach, and we got plenty of both. Having a gated community made me feel safer, and it was great being able to wake up each day and walk down to a private beach.

Great Location!

Highly recommend. Gated community. The rooftop view is outstanding. About 15 mins from Papas & Beer Rosarito area & about 5 mins from seafood locations.

Lovely home in the heart of Las Gaviotas

Cindy is a great host, and my husband, two young kids (1 and 3.5), & I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at su casita cerca del mar! You can tell it’s a well-loved home and not just a bare-bones vacation rental. We especially appreciated the rooftop terrace (where you can check the surf) and the location directly across from the playground. It’s also near the entrance gate and sort of halfway between (and just above) the pool & the private beach. We’ve been to Baja multiple times, and this was our first stay at Gaviotas. It’s safe and family-friendly, and we were happy to discover that local vendors sell yummy tacos, ceviche, smoothie, & cocktails by the pool every day — and that Colectivo Surf (just across the main road) is a well worth visiting as well. We’re already dreaming up our next visit!

classic Casa!!

Cindy's house is perfect for a family get together ! The roof top deck is awesome for watching the surf or watching the sun go down or the sun come up. The house is laid out with style and care. The master suite is comfortable and modern. the kitchen has everything one needs to prepare meals, and there is a grill on the deck. The master bed room is downstairs , it's private and cozy. We had a great time, check it out... The location is perfect, and the neighbors were considerate and friendly! Plus there is an awesome surf break with a friendly line up of surfers. Just Awesome!!

We stayed at Las Gaviotas Memorial weekend for a two night stay. It was my family of four and a family friend and her daughter. My friend and I have daughters that are differently able, fixates and have anxieties especially when it comes to new places to stay. The host was very kind, understanding and accommodating to our daughter’s needs. The rental was very clean, warm and inviting. The rooftop view was beautiful and relaxing as you’re looking out to the ocean. Definitely a favorite spot to listen to your favorite music while having a cold drink. The rental was spacious for having three adults and three kids. We had such an awesome experience! I would definitely book this rental again!!!

Love this spot

My family of 5 loved this place! It was a nice touch having a 5 gallon water dispenser for drinking. The kitchen was well equipped. It was helpful to have little chip clips too. Ha the mom in me was happy to see those. :) The location was great. Easy to get to the beach, tennis courts and the kids loved having the park right across the way. The beds were comfortable too. We would love to come back.

Incredible Stay

This was our favorite house in Gaviotas! Clean, great location, great layout. Check in was easy and the house had sufficient towel hooks and drying racks (which, funny enough, seems to be really rare) We LOVED our stay and can’t wait to return!

Big Casita

The owner was so accommodating and the house was perfect for two small families. The roof top deck is the perfect place to enjoy morning coffee and we had everything we needed.

Great Stay in Las Gaviotas

We really liked the setup of this place for our family. There is a large master suite downstairs and then two bedrooms on the main level with a shared bathroom. The views are great and there is a rooftop deck. Very clean place. Compared to other units that we have stayed out in this complex, this one felt more like a home and was our favorite unit that we have stayed at so far. Great communication with the manager and enjoyed using Cindy’s kitchen which was well-stocked with cooking necessities.

This place (the home and Las Gaviotas) is amazing!

Can't recommend this place enough. The home was even better than the pictures, so much character and charm and beautiful views of the ocean! Las Gaviotas itself is a lovely community. If you're a surfer, it's hard to beat the private break right out front.

Perfect stay

We had a great stay at Cindy’s place. The house is decorated so it’s really homey and comfortable. The view from the roof deck is amazing, you can see the break and enjoy your coffee with a view. The house was stocked with everything we needed (but bring your own drinking water). There is a very short walk to both the break and beach and the pool. We were really happy with our visit. Thanks, Cindy!
