'A last minute stay, room was outdated and in need of some TLC. Disappointed as no water on a hot day (27c) or biscuits or chocolate drink as this is usually the standard for most these days. I dont think the menu has changed much since we last visited. Love the area with plenty to do and see. '

'Lots of character but really well kept. Very comfortable with nice extra amenities in the room. Staff are great. Super food with fully stocked pub bar. Stayed in room above main pub and facing road but surprisingly quiet.'

' We stayed at The Port William Friday and Saturday night in January. We choose this place due to its location to the coast and its positioning right at the side of Trebarwith Beach and the promise of a sea view and relaxing atmosphere. We were not disappointed! This is a lovely spot right on the SW Coast Path and only a few miles walk into Tintagel. The rooms were small but cosy and more than adequate for our stay. 'Fun, independent spot. Staff is a friendly group willing and able to offer tips and advice on how to make the most of your time in Cornwall. The beds were very comfortable and showers have good water pressure.'

'The owners were very friendly. A cosy place, room was clean slightly dated. The room my wife and I was in had signs of an old leak on ceiling, some repairs needed but nothing serious. Both of us found the bed a little soft for our liking. There are no restaurants close by within easy walking distance, but there are plenty of choices by car within 10 - 20 mins.'

'This is an exceptional place to stay. The family is very friendly and welcoming, the breakfasts are delicious and excellent quality. The room is well appointed and quiet. We were really well looked after during our visit and we hope to return before too long.'
