I sat on a creek rock and the hammock enjoying the sunshine. No other people could sit on my rock. I had private rushing water that one yearns for during hiking. My husband enjoyed the creek, but he has medical condition and could not make the short walk to the river spot with the chairs and picnic table. We were in awe of how beautiful...

'This was my 2nd time using the property for my company ELT (Executive Leadership Team) offsite. My team enjoyed the house and amenities. Most of our meetings were held in the screened in porch. Having the calming water views was a huge bonus. Several team members have requested we return for our July or October ELT.'

'We loved everything about the condo. The steps were a little challenging but we made it just fine. We can't say much about the couch though. It was very uncomfortable and hard to get up, especially for us "older" folks. The bed was very comfortable. The best part was sitting on the deck, drinking coffee and listening to the river roll by. Nestled in the foothills of the smokies but just outside of town. Clayton had everything we needed for our visit and the location was so central to an abudance of scenic adventures. We went to our daughter ring ceremony at Clemson and this house was just 15 minutes away We also rented a boat for 2 days and had the convenience to dock in the property, lake is beautiful we had a wonderful time fishing and swimming. 'The cottage was absolutely perfect. Very beautiful, roomy, had everything we needed (but couldn’t find a toaster). We just made our toast in the oven. Beds were very comfortable! Hot tub provided for lots of relaxation and conversation. The TVs were super small for TV watchers, but we didn’t go to watch TV. We had an amazing time!'
