'We were coming from NC and were meeting family here to stay with to attend my aunt Funeral . Cabin is very cozy , very clean and well kept . We really did not stay in the cabin long . I wish we could have been able to stay there for a more getaway trip . It would be a perfect cabin to stay . The fire pit was nice. We brought some wood to use one night we were there . Cabin is very well insulated so it stayed nice and warm inside .'

'Property was very clean and very quiet. Only a few problems….the toilet seat was broken, they didn’t provide enough toilet paper and paper towels (luckily we had our own) and they didn’t provide dish towels to dry dishes. Also be warned that there is no AC, but they do provide a fan. Overall though, good unique experience. '

'The location was very quiet. The place was clean but a little musty smelling. And although i have washed my blankets, the smell lingers. Please note it does say no heat, but i was surprised since they are renting it when the temps are in the 40's they dont provide more blankets. There is one thin one and i failed to find others. Thank goodness i had thought to bring my own, though not heavy enough. It was 32 degrees at night and i ended up sleeping in my sweats.Word to wise: check the weather...

'It has become a bit of a family tradition to spend a few days away from home after Christmas each year. Raystown was the destination of choice this year, and this house checked the boxes we were looking for. The location is perfect. Out of the way, but a quick drive up to Huntingdon, or down to the main marina and recreation area at Raystown.
