Excellent location near Art Gallery and Eaton Centre. Room was small, no coffee or tea facility, lightswitches were incomprehensible, no readinglight by the bed and there was a glass window between the bathroom and the room, so limiting your privacy.

Erg klein , maar gezellig hotel. Receptie niet altijd perfect ( stagiaires bv ). Werkzaamheden tijdens mijn verblijf . Dakterras erg leuk ( probeer de tacos ! ). Kamer veel te klein . Koffer moest op bed neergelegd worden , nergens anders plaats. Schuifdeur naar badkamer liep regelmatig uit rails en deurklink zat los .

Terrible room. Tiny. You have to pay for room cleaning. I tried three times to get fresh facecloths and there were never any. No person to help out. I’ll never stay at a Sonder again.

Stayed here for a few days in Toronto and it was so nice! Eaten centre, CN tower, and other attractions were within walking range. Lots of cool shops on our street and streets around us, and plenty of places to grab fast out or eat out. Would stay here again for sure!

Digital savvy and fall risk.
Everything settled in very well after initial difficulty with entry keypad. Thankfully, Elena (?) came to the entrance to help me. Kyle has to help me understand the workings of the TV with it's disappointing menu. Shower floor is a fall risk without a grab bar or a rough patch to stand on. Very slippery. Great area. Enjoy the Nespresso and tea selection.

The area was nice, close to transit options and restaurants. The room itself was quite small but alright for traveling alone, I wouldn’t recommend if you’re traveling with a family. With the size of the room, the tv was mounted from the ceiling and not the wall, which was very uncomfortable to use as you had to crank your head upward from the bed, and I hit my head off it a few times as I’m a tall person. This was my first time using Sonder, and I would again with different expectations- I was not a fan of the contactless interface because at first the app wasn’t sending the 4 digit code and the agent made me feel like I wouldn’t have a room when I arrived. After signing out and back into the app my reservation appeared in the app and everything else was fine. One simple code to get through the main door and my room.

I stayed at Sonders the Beverley for three nights for attending a conference at a nearby hotel. The hotel is easily walkable from the Osgood subway station, and I enjoyed the dining options and accessibility around the place. That said, I felt that for $300 per night, the place is overpriced and understaffed. When the toilet in my room stopped working one morning, I was first told that I may get some assistance with it the next morning!!! And good luck for the whole day! It took multiple calls and requests for them to expedite service for this untenable situation. Customer service is slow and getting service is even slower! This 'alternative' accommodation is a good idea in theory, but for the price you pay, it can be a real stinky headache if things go wrong.

Me and my sister were from the states and we drove to Canada and realized we couldn’t drive back home everyday . We just looked up hotels in the area on Expedia and Sonder was one of the closet and most reasonably price .At first I was a little scared to book through Expedia so I called Sonder over the phone and the price was muchh higher so I just went ahead and booked . Automatically they sent instructions how to navigate the app even though it was contactless it was so easy and reassuring to find a hotel so quick and easy . The hotel room was nice the rooftop bar was perfect at night and it was in such a centralized location . I wonder recommended Sonder again & again

The hotel had many issues, it's hard to know where to start. The locks had issues, where the accesses were wrongly denied, i had to wait a while before this got fixed, and i could finally get in my room. After the first day, the air conditionning stopped working, making the room unberably hot and hard to sleep in. The hotel tried compensating for this mistake on their part under the condition of reserving for an other room in their hotel, which is quite questionnable. Issues were not only with the building, I also had issues with the hotel brand managment as well. All in all, i do not recommend the hotel brand.

Great bed but otherwise underwhelming
Convenient location downtown and reasonably close to the subway. I was surprised to find out checkin was online and not quite straight forward which meant a call in order to access my room. There was no elevator. No one to greet you which I found I missed. The room was pretty quiet given the dorm room vibe of the hotel. The bed was super comfortable and I slept well. I found the room lacked space for luggage and in the bathroom it was challenging to layout my toiletries. When I used the shower, it took 10 mins for the water to be hot enough to stand under. I kept hitting my arms off the shampoo pumps and one of the pumps fell apart when I tried to straighten it. And the room could definitely have used a service given the spring dirt I dragged in but it felt complicated to have to figure out how to call someone outside of the hotel to request a service. I'm not sure I felt the room lived up to the $250+ price tag.

I am very disappointed with this hotel. It was positioned as a cool trendy spot but failed to deliver. The entire check-in process is through an app - you need data and phone service to set up your check-in. I did see a couple of very frustrated people stranded outside the door at night (with no cell service) trying to check in. There is no front desk and for any issues, you have to use the app chat - and be engaged. The Sonder does not have an elevator - which wasn't fun for me hauling my luggage (with a bad back) to the 4th floor. Cleaning - there is "Request Cleaning" on the app - which I thought was fine.... but they actually do not offer clean-up of your room. Later, the chat attendant said they can clean it for a fee ($39) - which seems ridiculous considering I paid $500 for a room per night. The Sonder would be a great spot at a lower price - but if you charge 'boutique hotel' prices - I expect great service and amenities - this seems like a Tokyo capsule hotel. Bed is ok - comfortable enough. The lights and outlet setup are not great for having your devices charging and within close distance.
