'Beautiful, clean, modern apartment within walking distance of major sites and great restaurants.We were a party of 4 and had plenty of space with spacious bedrooms and bathrooms, as well as a lovely living area. Marion was a pleasure to deal with and gave us fantastic information about restaurants and some must sees. She had a nice selection of coffee, teas, jams and the fridge stocked with some refreshments upon our arrival. Would definitely recommend!'

'This is a clean, quiet, comfortable and convenient place to stay about 20-30 minutes walk west of central Amsterdam. The kitchen has all the basics and a dishwasher, but no microwave. Martijn is an accomodating and communicative host who lives downstairs. The stairs are steep and narrow but manageable if you take your time. We would gladly stay here again!'

'We were traveling as a family with two of our young adult children. We love staying in properties that offer local character, and this property delivers. Located across from a canal, it has extensive views of all the comings and goings on the canal. Beautiful! Please heed the owner's warning about the steep stairs. If you have mobility challenges in any way, this property is not for you. Having said that, my husband has a bum knee, and he was able to manage. Interior stairway offers child safety...

'Great apartment in a fun location. We really enjoyed being right in/on the edge of the hustle and bustle. And the location on the canal we were on was excellent. The tree-lined canal, the local restaurants and pubs, the early evening golden hour…all were great. Two things to note: the noise in the alley will definitely impact your sleep late into the night. But it is super quiet until 9 or 10 am so plenty of time to sleep in. Also, the small bed in the very small room with the limited...

'We really liked this apartment and Mario was an excellent host! It's very clean and well stocked. It's located very close to the red light district and walking distance to everything in the City Center, including the Metro which is very close and Amsterdam Central Station. The only surprise was the bathrooms. We thought there would be a full bath and half bath but we discovered that both bathrooms equal one (the apartment only has 1 toilet, 1 shower, 1 tub, 2 bathroom sinks). Just a...
