Welkom bij Blue Ridge Mountains NC's! U heeft zojuist gevonden de beste en meest unieke accommodatie bij Stone Mountain State Park!

Onze hut ligt op minder dan 1 mijl naar de ingang van Stone Mountain State Park, waar u prachtige watervallen, historische bezienswaardigheden, wandelpaden, bergbeklimmen en nog veel zult vinden, veel meer!

Stel je voor ... je zit op de veranda van een mooie blokhut, genieten van de koele, frisse berglucht. Nu ... kijk hieronder en je zult zien een 70 mijl panoramisch uitzicht met elke schaduw van de kleur groen verspreid over een uitgestrekt bos- vallei en de tijd verzacht bergen. Witte wolken hangen als klodders meringue in de Carolina blauwe hemel. (Hieronder Vervolg)


Nu ... kijk oosten en je zal Pilot Mountain ('Mt. Pilot 'zoals het werd genoemd in de beroemde Andy Griffith tv-show). En op een heldere dag kunt u de hoge gebouwen te zien in het centrum van Winston Salem, NC, meer dan 50 mijl afstand!

En 's nachts ... Wow ... de twinkelende nachtverlichting in de vallei zijn adembenemend en zoooo romantisch!

Natuurlijke schoonheid van de omvang is zo inspirerend en een waar feest voor de zintuigen ... voedt de ziel.

Het zal even prachtige als de herfst bladeren verf het rood, koper, brons en goud zijn; als de winter sneeuw dekens met een sprankelende laagje suiker wit, en als de lente scheuten, knoppen en bloemen overspoelen het in een zee van kanten pastel schuim.

Beautiful and peaceful spot

This cabin is tucked away with beautiful and quiet views of the surrounding valley and extremely close to Stone Mtn Stare Park. The cabin itself is clean, everything works well, it just needs some updating and is a little musty. But it’s a rustic cabin in the woods! :)

Great mountain getaway!

We had a lot of fun staying at this Cabin. My girlfriend and I and our dog were in a road trip from Florida to Pennsylvania and we stopped in Traphill to hike Stone Mountain. Ed was a wonderful host and very responsive. The cabin was clean and cozy and had everything we needed and then some. The view is absolutely spectacular, particularly at sunrise! And the hot tub was also a very fun amenity that we enjoyed! Overall this is a great little cabin for a cozy stay whether you’re hiking or just enjoy peace and quiet and nature! Definitely recommend!

Breathtaking view

It was beautiful! Breathtaking view. Loved the hot tub! Internet was good and everything worked great. The microwave and toaster oven were upgraded since the pics so that was nice! The bed was a little small and not super comfy and we ran out of paper towels and hand soap (I brought some though so it wasn’t a big deal)But overall a wonderful stay! Really quaint and cute. Loved it!

Spectacular Sunrise!

This beautiful little cabin is perfect for a couples getaway. We celebrated my birthday by watching the best birthday sunrise of my life from the cozy front porch rockers. The weather was cold and windy so we didn’t use the hot tub or the fire pit, but they would be wonderful amenities in better weather. The indoor fireplace kept us warm and cozy. This cabin is in a peaceful, secluded area yet very close to SMSP. We hiked to the waterfalls and trout streams within the state park. Note that there are three cabins on this property with plenty of space between cabins. Parking is tight especially for large vehicles. It’s a 20-30 minute drive to major grocery stores and restaurants, so come prepared. There is a small general store close by. We did see a few stink bugs inside but also saw evidence that the owners are actively addressing the problem to the best of their ability. Overall, this is a wonderful little cozy cabin and we hope to come back again!

Great as always!

My wife and I come to this specific cabin every year! If you want a peaceful, fun getaway then I highly recommend. If you want luxury and high maintenance then this is not for you. Be prepared to enjoy a getaway outside of normal city living! Stone Mountain has amazing hiking trails and overlooks to make an awesome day and to return back to a great cabin with exceptional views while relaxing in the hot tub! Thanks again for a great stay!

Good for short trip

The cabin was tidy when we arrived, smaller than expected but ok. The cabin felt outdated but still functional. Area was great, very secluded with just the 3 cabins so nice and peaceful. The hot tub was the shining star of this property as well as the view. Make sure you read the entire listing as I was not aware the bed is only full size until we arrived. We wish the weather would have been better as there is not much to do in the area aside from the State Park. There was no direct communications with the hosts which was not any issue, when we arrived there were policy and instructional sheets in the cabin that gave us everything we needed. Overall would recommend, but would suggest to not have more than 2 people staying as cabin 1 was not too spacious. Thank you to the hosts for a nice weekend getaway!

Everything was good - lots of little stink bugs u believe they’re called but based on location normal. Just vacuumed them all up. The parking was tight so if you got a big SUV / truck it can be a little tight.

Can't beat the view!!

We loved our Thanksgiving stay in this cabin. The view is incredible and we loved sitting out on the deck (though it was cold!). Short drive to Stone Mtn. state park which has great hiking/trails, waterfalls and of course, the mountain :) The cabin had everything we needed and the hosts were great - great communication, clear instructions on access, etc. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Very Relaxing!

My husband and I stayed here on our way down from Cleveland to the beach in South Carolina. We love the Yadkin Valley region and wanted to hike Stone Mountain so this was the perfect place - being just down the road! The cabin was perfect, clean, and had a beautiful view from the porch and hot tub. One morning, after a heavy storm we enjoyed watching roll in from the rocking chairs on the porch the evening before, we awoke to a breathtaking scene of mountains and hills in the distance draped in fog and clouds. If you're looking for a great place to unwind, this is it!

1000x would come back again

We really enjoyed our stay. It was exactly what we wanted! We felt isolated from the world but had enough to do around us that kept us thoroughly entertained. The hot tub wasn’t one of those run down ones, it was nice, fancy, and worked like a charm. The grill needed cleaning but that’s usually the case with most rental grills. It also came with all ware so we didn’t need to bring anything except charcoal, light fluid, and firewood/kindling for the fire.
