    Neem je eigen waterscooters mee, want je hebt een eigen aanlegsteiger - geniet van kajaks (2), strand, vuurplaats. Kunnen we zeggen 's'mores', een prachtig gazon en een sfeer die niet eenvoudig door woorden alleen kan worden beschreven, 'ervaar het' en de zuiverheid van Michigan komt tot leven.


    Volledig gerenoveerd met alle moderne upgrades. Casa del Lago wil dat je niet wilt vertrekken. Stel je voor ochtenden op het dek terwijl de zon opkomt en geniet van je favoriete verfrissing terwijl de zon ondergaat. Geniet 's avonds van s'mores en de warmte van het vuur en haal herinneringen op aan de gebeurtenissen van de dag.

    Grill en dineer op het dek en geniet van de pracht van het leven in het meer dat u omringt. Er is voldoende ruimte in de tuin als u uw eigen tuinspellen wilt meenemen.

Lovely house, lovely setting

A nicely decorated house right on the lake in a peaceful setting. Just what we were looking for this summer. The kitchen is well equipped for cooks and coffee drinkers. So many special touches plus a responsive owner who cares about the vacationer’s needs. We loved the setting, the variety of comfy indoor and outdoor seating, and the use of the boats.

The home was beautiful and well appointed. We appreciated all of the special touches the host provided such as wine and snacks for the week. We also were relieved to find a well stocked kitchen as well as toiletries, and beach towels. The lake is absolutely peaceful and relaxing and again, the host provided all sorts of outdoor water equipment. The sauna is incredible and a great excuse to jump in the lake afterwards.Our only concern was the level of cleanliness. The ceiling fans in the bedrooms were covered in dust as were most of the vents throughout the home. As most of us have allergies, we had to dust to alleviate symptom.

As advertised

Beautiful, renovated Cape Cod directly on the lake. Comfortable accommodations and the outdoor space made for a wonderful fall break for the kids. Would be perfect in the summer months, but the kids enjoyed watching me wade out into the freezing waters on the paddle board nonetheless. Highly recommended!

Long Lake Gem

This was our 2nd year at Casa Del Lago for a family get away and it was another perfect vacation. A well equipped and beautiful home on a gorgeous lake with never ending activities and exploring nearby. New outdoor furniture on deck and dock were great for all to watch sunsets, boaters, kayakers and wildlife. Bill is a wonderful host. We will be back!

Wonderful lakefront property

Private, quiet location at the end of a country lane. House is modern with comfortable beds and furniture, an a gas fireplace. Amenities include a canoe, kayaks, stand up paddle boards and a dock with deck chairs. The lake water is clean and clear with a sandy bottom. There’s a fire pit and a BBQ grill. We had a great time!

Casa del lago

Amazing week at bills property, Cassa, Del Lago. Conveniently located to several northern Michigan towns. Nice quiet spot on long lake in the cove at the sandy bottom. Bill is an amazing host and the property is stocked with every amenity you could want and more. We enjoyed having a boat at the end of the dock to go tubing and ride on and have leisurely lunch on, used the grill every day and a fire pit almost every night. We cannot wait to come back next year

Great lake house on a quiet cove

We had a wonderful visit for a 3-generation family vacation. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Very private setting, screened by the woods from other houses. Right on a quiet cove, and we enjoyed the lake view from the house, the outside seating areas, and the boat dock. We made a lot of use of the kayaks, canoe and paddle boards. Location was very convenient. Bill was a great host, attentive and responsive. Hope we can go back!

Fabulous lakeside living

A cozy, comfortable and well-appointed getaway on the shores of Long Lake, perfect for couples or small groups, with all the amenities needed to enjoy a relaxing visit to the lake. There are kayaks, a paddle board, a paddle boat, and a canoe available with the cottage, and the owner can make the pontoon boat available as a rental. There are lots of sitting areas, both inside and out, and the addition this year of more dock space allows for putting chairs out on the dock, the perfect place to watch the sun disappear into the treeline on the other side of the cove. With a location close to Traverse City and all the attractions of the Leelanau and Old Mission peninsulas, yet feeling like you're at your own private resort, this property makes the perfect vacation rental.

Magical

Our trip at Bill’s cottage was nothing short of amazing. The home was beautiful, comfortable and clean. The location is stunning. Sunsets every night out on a huge dock to sit and enjoy. He had many kayaks and paddle boards for our use. Our stay was for a month and we moved right in and the kitchen had everything we needed and was fully stocked. We had excellent communication with Bill. We had a few issues come up and he immediately jumped on it and took care of everything. He’s a super nice and lovely man and would highly recommend booking his cottage. We will most definitely be back! Thank you for an awesome exoerience and making our stay for our daughters wedding so much more memorable! Marc and Denise

Heaven on the lake

Staying at Casa del Lago was a wonderful experience. The property was beautifully situated on the lake (which were quiet and so serene while we were there). The home we stayed in was pristine and beautifully decorated with every amenity you could ever need. The accommodations were inviting and comfortable and we were able to relax, refresh and lose ourselves in the beauty of nature.. Bill was THE perfect host and made us feel welcome and taken care of. I can’t recommend this property enough!

Practically Perfect!

We have stayed at many properties around Long Lake and this one is by far the best. The best... - location - value - property - place to relax (bed are comfy) - toast s'mores - management - sunsets I hesitate to recommend so highly as fear it will be booked up next year when we would love to come back, but this property is outstanding and a real home from home - the owners go the extra mile to make you feel welcome.

Amazing Home AWAY from Home

From the moment we drove down the driveway to the house everything felt special. Bill was an amazing host and addressed any questions we had right away. There were so many special touches that were done in the house to make sure we were comfortable. Loved the kitchen and each bedroom was so beautifully done and the bedding was done just like a hotel; super comfy. I will definitely keep this location on my list for next year and have already suggested it to friends. Thank you Bill for making our trip so special!!

Perfect Getaway

Had such an enjoyable experience with my family there. Some many little touches throughout the house that made the stay even better. The heated bathrooms are AWESOME. Colors were great and many really nice hiking trails nearby. Can’t wait to go back in the summer.

Perfect Location & Coziest Cabin

We had the best autumn weekend staying here. Fall leaves, lake access, downtown TC, local wineries, and nearby hikes were everything we could have asked for. The home itself was clean and comfy. The perfect place to kick back and relax by the fire after all the adventures of the day.

This was a delightful property on a small lake with superb lake views. The house was very quiet. The check in and check out processes were clear and easy. The 4 of us enjoyed it. Amazing location with thoughtful touches

We had another great trip to Bill's lakehouse. The views are amazing and only about 12 minutes from downtown Traverse City. The attention to detail spent making sure guest have everything they need during the stay is wonderful. We hope to return again.

Perfect fall getaway

This place has everything you need to make a really memorable Traverse City experience. Its about 10-15 minutes from downtown Traverse, which is close enough but far enough away to enjoy the solitude. The property is fully stocked, comfortable and exaclty what the family needed to escape (grill, fire pit, canoes, fireplace).
