'Margarita is a wonderful resort on the even more wonderful beach of Khanom. Each bungalow is comfortable and clean with a modern design. The food is fantastic, with a great choice between local Thai dishes and western ones as well (I highly recommend the Pad Krapow tacos!). As to be expected, the margaritas are delicious. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The owners are often on the premises and are super nice and great to chat with. They helped us get book vans to get back home to Nakon...

The restaurant has a stunning setting and the beach looked very swimmable. We hear that you can sometimes see pink dolphins swimming right in the bay. There are no other guesthouses nearby so a walk down the street feels like you are really in Thailand, not farang- land. The owner was very friendly and drove us to the ferry pier for 500 baht. '

"Echt een geweldig verblijf! Heel vriendelijk personeel, alles gloed nieuw, prachtige ruime kamer en hele goede ligging! Met de Shuttle bus kan je naar Fisherman en Chaweng beach wat goed geregeld was."
"Wij hebben een fantastisch verblijf gehad bij Mantra. Het personeel was ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ja, het ligt inderdaad wat hoger, maar wij waren heel blij met onze keuze, omdat we nu ook niet middenin het "Koh Samui/chaweng" toerisme zaten, wat niet direct ons ding was. De golfkarretjes brengen je naar boven of beneden als je dit zou willen en ze bieden het ook actief aan. Onze kamer was heel! ruim, schoon en had fantastisch uitzicht (5 sterren+++). Zwembad was ook geweldig, lekker rustig, groot en mooi uitzicht. Wij hebben een aantal keer in het restaurant gegeten en vonden de prijs/kwaliteit goed. Ja, iets duurder dan op een markt, maar wel lekker rustig, goed eten, normale portie en even geen drukte (en zeker niet duurder dan de restaurants in fishermans village bijvoorbeeld). Shuttle bus is een goede uitkomst om geen taxi te bestellen, daarnaast hebben wij dagelijks gebruik gemaakt van de yoga/pilates lesjes in de ochtend en dan nog van de grote gym. Er is tevens een grote co-working space. Dan nog het laatste: het ontbijt krijg ook 5+++ sterren. Super lekker! Thanks Jay!!"
"Het volk wat daar komt in het hotel is slecht. Hotel doet niks.security staat alleen bij de poort en snacht nergens te vinden. Is er luid weinig facaliteiten. Zoveel beter hotwls dan deze trouwens bedden zijn vies en de airco klinkt of hij naast je bed staat"
