'Overall a great stay! We stayed during the record blizzard a week ago. We were due to check out on Monday and after packing up our stuff and trying to head out for a snowmobile ride it was clear we weren’t going anywhere! 'My wife has a service dog, so we always try to pick pet-friendly hotels. Expedia has them listed as pet-friendly but they are not. However, because of her dog being a service dog, they didn’t bat an eye and made us feel fully welcome. I know it’s the law, but there wasn’t a hint of concern when we checked in. Very much appreciated.'

'Our stay was very comfortable. The room was clean. There were no extras like lotion or things like that I may have asked, but I didn’t really need the right thing. The breakfast was typical with waffles, egg sausage, toast, bagels, yogurt. The staff was very friendly and polite.'

'We booked two nights at Explorer Munising, and after reading some of the reviews, it made me a little worried of how our stay would end. But this place is absolutely AMAZING! THE LOCATION IS 10/10 the property is absolutely beautiful! To the people who say there isn’t instructions for check-in, they make the door access extremely easy, you don’t park across the street from the cabin. 'The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and spacious for the Marquette area. It was very reasonably priced as well. We did have a some issues with controlling the heat, but the staff was very helpful in addressing it. They also offered extra blankets. We were very satisfied and would return and our next visit to the area.'
