'Check-in went smoothly, and the staff member was friendly. But, sorry to say, the area surrounding the motel is especially awful. There's a lot of noise outside late into the night. Beggars in the area bother guests and even knock on your door asking for money. Even at night, when I was already in bed, I'd get knocked on. I didn't always feel safe. I know the motel can't forbid homeless people and beggars from being in the area, but they should take some action to minimize the nuisance.'

'We stayed in a suite!! The room was far from clean with dirt on the flooring. The sofa was ripped and the back pillow coming off, and the sofa bed was disgusting. The light when you entered the room flashed like a strobe light (not good when you have a family member with epilepsy). There was mold growing under the bathroom vanity and sharp broken tiles surrounding the floor. The toilet ran all night. And the kicker of the trip, NO hot water the entire stay. And now I can’t get any type of at...

'Housekeeping leaves A LOT to be desired. There was poop droplets on the bathroom floor. Shampoo and conditioner from the wall dispenser was running down the wall in the shower. There was also a 2 1/2 inch tree roach running around in there that I had to trap with a plastic cup and flush down the toilet. There was a milky white substance that stained the sofa. The desk, mirror, and bathroom counter had nasty smudges and residue on them that you could see and feel. The microwave didn't work....

'The Days Inn staff was professional, polite and helpful, the physical condition of the property was excellent and the amenities offered were as good or better than hotels that charge much more. My husband left two pairs of shorts in a drawer in our room and Days Inn shipped them to our home at no charge. That's going above and beyond. '
