ONS EIGENDOM
Kom en wees onze gast en maak het uzelf gemakkelijk in dit prachtige open concept cottage met hoge kathedraalplafonds en ramen met een panoramisch uitzicht op het vredige Lake van Conley.

Deze goed aangelegde woning met meerdere dekken biedt u de mogelijkheid om te ontspannen en te genieten van het prachtige uitzicht, de vredige omgeving en de rustige geluiden van de natuur. Dit privévrije, autovrije meer biedt diep, schoon water vlak bij het dok, wat geweldig is om te zwemmen, terwijl de zonovergoten dekken de perfecte plek zijn om achterover te leunen, te genieten van een boek, vogels kijken of zonnen.

Kom tot rust en kom in contact met de natuur door te genieten van een van onze vele buitenactiviteiten, zoals zwemmen, paddleboarden, kajakken, vissen en sterrenkijken. Het gebruik van 2 paddle-boards, 2 kajak, feesteiland, een elektrisch aangedreven aluminium boot en visuitrusting is inbegrepen bij uw verblijf.

Voor de visser kunt u vissen op zowel pickerel als bas direct vanaf het dok of neem de meegeleverde trollingboot om het hele meer te verkennen.

The Lake House biedt een fantastisch uitzicht op de zonsondergang vanaf het benedendek gedurende de zomer of geniet van wat tijd bij de vuurplaats onder een schitterende sterrenhemel 's nachts.

Slechts een paar uur van Toronto is deze privé-retraite aan het meer een perfecte ontsnapping voor koppels, gezinnen of vrienden die willen genieten van het huisje. We verhuren voor 7 nachten in juni, juli en augustus. Kortere verblijven zijn welkom in september en oktober.


KAMERS
Dit prachtige open concept cottage met drie slaapkamers en 2 volledige baden biedt plaats aan maximaal 8 gasten.
Hoofdniveau beschikt over een open concept woonkamer, eetkamer en keuken die allemaal genieten van uitzicht op het meer. Twee van de 3 slaapkamers zijn gemakkelijk bereikbaar en bevinden zich op het hoogste niveau - een met een queensize bed en de andere met een dubbele stapelbed. De derde slaapkamer bevindt zich op de tweede verdieping en beschikt over een kingsize bed en een slaapbank, een en-suite badkamer en een Juliet balkon met uitzicht op de belangrijkste woonruimte.

VOORZIENINGEN
Het huisje is uitgerust met een waterfiltratiesysteem voor snelle en gemakkelijke toegang tot drinkwater. Elke maaltijd bereiden is eenvoudig in onze volledig uitgeruste keuken. Er is voldoende ruimte rond de eettafel voor een familiediner of u kunt ervoor kiezen om van het uitzicht te genieten terwijl u buiten op ons grote buitenterras eet.
Weer of geen weer, je kunt een film opnemen met onze uitgebreide collectie Blue-rays en dvd's of aan tafel zitten en een van onze gratis bordspellen spelen. Onbeperkte wifi kan u verbonden houden en toegang geven tot al uw favoriete streamingplatforms.
Deze cottage voor 3 seizoenen is toegankelijk via een eigen weg die in handen is van cottager, waardoor het verkeer in en rond het pand tot een minimum wordt beperkt. Parkeren is mogelijk voor maximaal 4 auto's.

Breng uw mountainbikes, ATV's, wandelschoenen en waterspeelgoed mee! Bezoek ons nabijgelegen naburige Crystal Lake waar u toegang heeft tot hun jachthaven of hun gratis toegang tot de bootlancering 5 minuten verderop.

Gelegen op 15 minuten rijden van Kinmount. Attracties zijn onder andere de Heritage Model Railroad & Museum, Furnace Falls en de Highlands Cinemas and Museum.

25 minuten van Minden. Attracties zijn onder andere Minden Wild Water Preserve, Kawartha Dairy Factory en The Minden River Walk.

25 minuten van Bobcaygeon. Attracties zijn onder andere Kawartha Dairy Factory, Kawarthas Settlers Village, Lock 32, Farmers 'Market, Sheffield Greens Golf Club, Globus Theatre, Wilderness Park en Boyd Heritage Museum. (Kawartha Country Wines)

Een 30 minuten rijden naar lokale winkels en benodigdheden in Fenelon Falls. Attracties zijn onder andere het Horseless Carriage-museum, Lock 34 & Waterfalls, The Little Pie Shack, Station Gallery, Farmers 'Market en Fenelon Falls Museum.

Paradise!

This is our second stay at the Lake House on Conley Lake and we hope to have many more. The location is magic with a beautiful vista, clean, clear air, the sounds of loons on the lake and most of all the glorious peace and quiet. The no motor rule on the lake is brilliant. Tom and Christina could not be more helpful and accommodating. The cottage is immaculate and well equipped. We love it.

Beautiful lake house!

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely lake house so much! It was like a private oasis. The welcoming basket was so nice. The hosts, Tom and Christina were very easy to work with and answered our every question promptly. The house was immaculate and well stocked. The kitchen is very organized and it was easy to fine everything you need. The beds were all very comfortable. The stairs to the lake provided us some good exercise, but may not be suitable for the elderly. The fishing was amazing right off the dock, we were catching bass and walleye. Kayaks and paddle board were fun. There was a nice fire pit and decks to admire the beautiful view. We enjoyed the loons and humming birds. There was golf nearby and some good restaurants not far. We loved "Just for the Halibut" in Bobcaygeon and the "Bobcaygeon Inn".

Very nice

The cabin itself is lovely, the hummingbirds that came daily were so fun to watch, and the floor to ceiling windows were amazing. The only downfall is the amount of stairs. We saw them when booking but didn’t realize there were quite so many or that steep. It was a major deterrent for being on the water with our boards. Very difficult to get them up and down. But we had a lovely stay.

A Little Piece of Heaven

Combine a pristine, quiet, and calm private lake with decks galore to watch the sunset and a lake house that has everything you need and more, and presto, you have a little piece of heaven. Our stay was with family and we loved the place completely. Our hosts were gracious enough to provide us with a welcome basket filled with local goodies! We didn't want to leave the view and the perfect September weather. The only thing is the fire route road to get to the Lake House is rough and if you have a low car, it might be cause for some concern, other than that, perfection! Thank you for such a great place and we hope to come back!

Heaven!

This cottage was the best we have ever rented in Ontario. The lake was quiet except for the loons. The water was clean and clear. The grounds were lovely with bird and hummingbird feeders, comfortable deck chair, excellent fire pit and above all a stunning view. The cottage met our every need. We have already arranged to rent it in 2022 and 2023.

Wonderful 2-week retreat at the Lake House

Many thanks to Tom and Christina for a peaceful, relaxing, and all around perfect cottage vacation. We loved that the cottage was not on the main road and was lined with trees, which made it feel very private and quiet. We had two babies up at the cottage, and the small, calm lake was perfect for swimming. We particularly loved the paddle boards, kayaks, and lillipad on the water, and trampoline that were provided. The hosts were lovely to communicate with and very responsive and helpful to all questions.

I can't say enough about how spectacular this cottage was. Everything from start to finish was just perfect. The cottage is stunning, awesome views, peaceful and fun! An Absolutely Beautiful Cottage on a Quiet Lake

The Humphries have scored big with a very tranquil, secluded gem! We had an amazing week at this beautiful cottage that is tucked into the woods and had amazing views of the lake. It was clean, tidy and very well maintained. The cottage is well stocked and had everything we needed (and more). The kids had a great time with all of the board games, kayaks, floating mats and toys. An amazing surprise was the amount of fish (some very big!) the kids could catch just off the dock and in the fishing boat that was supplied. We also enjoyed heading to the nearby dairy for ice cream a few times. Thank you to the Humphries for allowing us to stay here and making it a great summer vacation. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Lovely waterfront cottage

Perfect little cottage on a small private lake. Well equipped with everything you need, very clean and well organized! All the stairs down to the water wouldn’t be ideal for small kids or someone older, but we saw it as a workout and it was just fine! Beautiful lake for fishing, paddle boarding and kayaking. All communication with Tom was prompt and detailed. We highly recommend this adorable cottage!

A perfect getaway!

Thank you for a wonderful week. The cottage was bright, spacious and clean, exactly as pictured. The location on the water was beautiful, with the steps to the dock giving us a good work out. The waterfront was quiet and the lake just stunning. There were plenty of water crafts to enjoy and some good fishing. Tom was quick to respond to questions and very pleasant. Beautiful cottage and so much fun!!!

This cottage is stunning. From the moment we walked in and saw the view of the lake, to sitting on the dock listening to the loons, to our last campfire we all had a great time. We enjoyed kayaking and paddle boarding around the lake. The lake is so clean and clear we were able to watch the fish and turtles swimming. Kids loved the water trampoline and various activities that the cottage offers. Spotify and Netfilx are also available for rainy days. The cottage has lots of space , is extremely clean and comfortable and is well stocked with many of the comforts of home. The Humphries are great hosts. We will be back!

Amazing summer getaway

I was thrilled to see that the property was exactly how it looked ( actually even prettier ) upon arrival. The Cottage was spotless and incredibly well appointed. The view from the cottage is incredible. The lake is peaceful and secluded in the best possible way. Tom, the owner, was quick to reply with any questions we had and made sure everything was seamless. Can’t wait to go back!

Great Fall Getaway!

My friends and I stayed at The Lake House for 3 nights and it was the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city! The views from the house to the lake were memorizing! We enjoyed watching the blue jays at the feeder and the chipmunks running around. We had to use the wood stove during our stay and I must say it was able to keep the cottage nice and toasty! The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfy. At night the sky was so clear, we saw a couple of shooting stars. We definitely I can't wait to go back next year!! Thank you so much for this experience!

Exceptional place to get away!!!

We (2 of us) were at The Lake House for a total of 5 nights. The road leading to the cottage is narrow and remote; but we were not disappointed when we arrived. Property is beautiful; cottage fully equipped; many details were thought of by the hosts. It is very quiet which is what we wanted. We didn’t see any neighbours; lots of chipmunks and blue jays. The binoculars were a nice touch! Wood stove easy to manage. The lower deck is a perfect spot to enjoy coffee or a glass of wine as you gaze at the beautiful scenery. Loved having Spotify and a smart tv to watch a movie. As remote as the cottage is, you don’t “rough it” here. There are lots of stairs but that wasn’t a problem for us. There are all sorts of extras: board games, card games, books, magazines etc etc. The kitchen is equipped with even a slow cooker, food processor, muffin pans - you name it! We will try to return next year at this time (when the leaves turn colour) as it’s the perfect retreat!! Thank you!

Amazing tranquil place.

We had just an incredible weekend. The cottage is so bright and beautiful. We slept like babies in that super comfortable king bed. All the different levels of the property is such a great set up. There is so much to do in the surrounding towns. The highland theatre in Kinmount is a must what a cool place. This cottage is so equipped it was awesome not having to bring so much stuff. What a great place to spend our anniversary. Loved everything. The Humphries’ are so accommodating in making your stay the best it can be. Thanks again. Donna & Dave.

Spectacular property!!

Cottage is beautiful on a very quiet lake. Views are breathtaking. The place is very clean and had all the amenities. Perfect for small children. Even though there were a lot of stairs from the cottage to the dock, we didn't mind them (good exercise). Overall, highly recommend the place.

Beautiful...inside and out.

We loved this cottage ...it was everything that we wanted, plus some. No need to take anything except your essentials. The kayaks and paddleboards were an extra for us and all the family took advantage. I enjoyed walking up and down the stairs (FITNESS!) and the first level above the water was great for supervising children. The beds are all comfortable...the king bedroom is really a spacious suite. Thanks to our hosts who replied immediately to my queries about location of various items, I would give this cottage an A plus for a family vacation.

Very well kept cottage

A bunch of us rented the cottage for a week and we had an absolutely amazing experience. The cottage was very well kept and spacious; the outdoor areas like the deck, the fire pit was all well maintained. We loved the neighborhood and the neighbors who are also extended friendly. Best Kept Secret in the Kawarthas!

We shouldn’t really be leaving this review since we want to keep this place to ourselves. The Lake House was the perfect vacation spot for me and my family. Hidden off the beaten path Tom and his family have helped create a private and serene oasis tucked away in the woods. With spectacular views of the private lake is nature at its best. The activities provided were all used from the boat with electric motor to the paddle boards and inflatable raft. All the comforts of home are provided. Short drives to Bobcaygeon, Minden and Kinmount were added bonuses for day trips into town. Fishing off the dock was amazing catching lots of Bass and Pickerel. Hoping to come back next year as well to see the two loons on the lake whose morning and evening calls made everything perfect! 5 Stars!!
