'The positives: good location for access to Daylesford while still retaining a rural feel, cute tiny home, comfy loft bed, nice property although we didn’t get to see it in its full splendour as it was winter, friendly host, and easy check in. The compost toilet was not too bad, and didn’t smell. What could have been better: some things were not replenished prior to our stay such as dishwashing liquid and matches to build a fire, so our plans for s’mores was a bust. 'We loved our stay here at Zahalka House. This is exactly the type of house you think of when you want to experience a cosy weekend getaway in Daylesford. Every room is so thoughtfully detailed out and we especially loved relaxing in the den area at night. Would highly recommend and we can’t wait to come back.'
