'The location and views from the cottage are quintessential coastal Maine. Small community with lobster pound and Maine Oyster Company across the street. John is a welcoming host and eager to make sure you enjoy your stay. The cottage is great for 2 people, equipped with the basics and has a great deck to enjoy the views. Planning to return next year. 'The place is beautiful. Lots of nooks and crannies to escape by yourself and not be on top of others. The kitchen was fully stocked and completely renovated. We enjoyed the coffee/wine bar. We used the fire pit as well. I would say the only take aways is that the stairs were tough to navigate for my 88 year old mom and the house is situated right off a busy road. Finally, great that you can walk to the footpath and be in the heart of the town. Would recommend to others!!!'

'Spacious cottage (in a resort full of cottages) nicely located to visit Boothbay Harbor, Wiscasset and a day trip to the Portland coast. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils etc to make it easy to cook. Large table for family game nights. Great beds! The front porch and lawn were better for hanging outside. The back patio area is small and needs cleanup but we did not need it. '
