'Het heeft vooral de sfeer van een ‘guesthouse’, omdat het volledig gerund wordt door een uiterst aardig echtpaar, dat je ‘s morgens een prima ontbijt serveert en je op elk gewenst moment te woord zal staan. Heel anders dan een hotel met aardig maar afstandelijk personeel. De Lodge zelf is op leeftijd, dus verwacht geen hypermodern comfort.'

'As we arrived late we had to do the auto check in via the lodge keypad, they keypad didn’t quite work for us as expected but the staff on site soon came to our rescue. The property is lovely and is finished to a premium standard, unfortunately we didn’t have time to eat in the restaurant but the menu looked good, we would definitely stay here again if we were in the vicinity. '

'Fantastische pub/hotel/restaurant. Personeel uiterst vriendelijk en gemoedelijke sfeer. Slaapkamer moeilijk/ geen verduistering. Daardoor erg vroeg veel licht in de kamer. Volgende keer gaan we zeker weer hierheen (Met oog/slaapmasker)'

'The room was clean with a comfortable bed and a lockable door. It even had a fridge, a luxury absent from hotel rooms costing two or three times as much. The bathroom arrangements were unusual, with the loo in a tiny cupboard, and the basin and shower cubicle at the end of the bed. There was nowhere to hang a damp towel, and I was slightly unnerved by exposed wiring on a broken extractor fan switch just above the shower door. 'Very comfortable and friendly place. Parking can be difficult depending on time you arrive. I arrived late but found parking 1min walk around corner (free till 9am) which was fine. Single bed was very comfortable and the room was a good size and very clean as was the shared bathroom (which was huge, plenty of space to shower and change). Lovely lady greeted me, took details showed me around, gave me a bottle of water and advised/helped me with every aspect of my stay- very helpful. Overall good...
