'This is a great place to get away from it all. It was really nice to have a place on the water and sit around a campfire in the evening. The house/cottage is very clean, nicely decorated, and well-equipped. There aren't any stores or restaurants nearby, so stop at a grocery store in Ellsworth. There might be some firewood left by others, but it would be best to purchase some camp wood on the way. It is sold by seemingly everybody. Bar Harbor is an hour away by car. '

'The house was great, well stocked with everything we could have needed for our stay. We were outside of Acadia where we still got to experience authentic Maine!'

'Very spacious, clean, and comfortable two-story suite in the downtown area. We loved staying there and highly recommend it. That said, there were some easily addressed deficiencies in the access process. We were given a name for our suite and an access code that we were told would work for entry to the house AND the suite. The code worked for the building but not the suite. Also, none of the suites are marked with names; they’re all numbered.'

'It’s name says it all. A perfectly sized, literal “bed room” in the middle of the woods. The fire pit had wood all ready for me to use. If you were to come in the winter, the tiny home has a wood stove to use as well.'

'The included breakfast was so good and highly recommended. There was an electrical outlet in the bathroom that didn’t work. Also, not sure if it was us, but we couldn’t get the door to lock. However, for the location, cleanliness. We would stay here again. I might recommend a bigger refrigerator since we did have leftovers and they didn’t always fit in the fridge. '

'This was the perfect cozy cottage for a stay before heading to Acadia. It was clean, well-stocked, and had charming decor. The host was very kind and welcoming. The cottage is situated on a beautiful, quiet property with a view of Cadillac Mountain in the distance.'

'We had a great stay in Steuben! The view from the deck is amazing, especially at sunset! We found some great hikes and fun places to eat in the area. The cabin is cozy and had what we needed and communication was excellent. '
