'Beautiful little lake home. Love the view from the front porch. There is an eagle nest across the bay so we enjoyed watching all of the nature with the binoculars from the nice dock benches. Kitchen had everything you need to make meals. Day trip to Franconia sculpture garden was great. Great communication with the host. A very comfortable stay! '

'What a great little place. Very easy to get to and close to everything in chetek. Hosts even let us add a extra night. We will definitely be booking again for our next trip back to Chetek!! Highly recommend. '

'Cabin was great, yard was beautiful. City was close if you need anything. Jake the host was very friendly and helpful. Only thing I would call out is that there are steep stairs that lead down to the lake. So be prepared for that! '

'We had 2 families with adult children stay here. We had plenty of room. We had a great time and only wish it hadn’t rained as much. We did get one day to enjoy playing pickleball outside on the driveway and then going on the lake for a boat ride. Id say our only complaint would be that 2 pull out couch beds were not comfortable. And the “library desk area” could be better utilized as another room or a twin daybed (trundle bed). Thanks so much! We hope to visit again!'

'The Eleanor is a a pretty, cozy, well-appointed dwelling with a shabby-chic cottage ambience. We stayed one night, after attending a wedding at the Shed, but would have been happy to stay for a long weekend, to explore the countryside around Amery. 'The cabin was beautiful and well stocked with cooking supplies, games, towels etc. The beds were super comfortable. The hosts have done every possible to make this a lovely stay including NOT leaving a long list of things to do before you leave. As other reviews state, the walk down to the lake is a bit long and steep, but there are stairs. I got my exercise. We were a bit disappointed that the lake was so green with algae that swimming anywhere near the cabin was out of the question, the...
