'This was the perfect homestay while visiting Phong Nha. The rooms were large, comfortable, and clean. You are still near all the reatiraunts but far enough to not have to hear cars and motorbikes all day and night. The staff was also 5 star. '

'I think that if you love camping and don't mind seeing some tiny flying critters in the room, this is a great place for you. The room is basic but it's got a wonderful view of the mountains and the river that the boat tours pass through. The host was nice to talk with and was helpful with your questions (in English). The host booked a tour for me for the same morning.'

'Gem and Tuon were wonderful and attentive hosts. They were always available to help. They drove us wherever we wanted to go. Unfortunately my boyfriend was sick almost the entire stay (from before we arrived) and they brought us food from their restaurant as he wasn’t able to go out. They were so kind and lovely and we had a great stay. We weren’t able to do too much in the way of excursions because of illness but they had loads of recommendations and tours available to book through them. '

'Our host Wah couldn't have been more hospitable and friendly. The room was airconditioned on arrival, the bed was very comfortable and room clean and spacious. We had bicycles to use to meander into the main city via a quite back road. Wah helped us with booking tix for the car and our bus journey to our next location. Definately loved loved this stay.'

'Our stay here was wonderful. Quiet, nice bed, you can use their bikes to explore. I can’t say enough about the staff. They got us breakfast early and told us we are welcome to use the shower when we were done with our trek. When we went outside by the pool to have a drink at night, they turned on all the string lights just for us. '

'Vi havde 3 overnatninger på Love Homestay. Værelset var småt, men der var hvad vi skulle bruge. Der blev ikke gjort rent, det var som sådan ok, dog savnede vi at de havde tømt skraldespandene. Servicen var i top fra ejeren, da han hentede os kl. 2.30 om natten, da vi ankom til byen. Samtidig hjalp han os med at booke en masse ture. Poolen var super, og var lige hvad man havde brug for efter ture i Nationalparken. Fint at kunne låne cykler, så man kunne komme ind hvor der var flere restauranter...

'After escaping from another cities Terrible hotel we were so happy to be at the eagle! The room was wonderful with a bathtub and super comfortable sofa. Staff was very nice and welcoming. We had hoped to eat at the restaurant, but it wasn’t open. The only reason I have it 4 stars was because of the terrible breakfast. Seemingly nothing was restocked and it was mostly empty at 8:30. '

'Excellent hotel. Family run. Lovely family. Looked after the guests. Cooked dinner for us too. Were there when even we asked for anything, help, food, directions. Ching the daughter is very efficient. Mother excellent cook. Pool is very big and surrounded by mountain was the real good thing. But to caves as well as to Hue was booked by them without any extra charge (unlike other hotels).'

'The staff is friendly/family owned. Breakfast included in the price, secured my motorcycle, offered me tea, provided water in the room, and located along the main strip in Phong Nha, so walkable to the tourist center, restaurants, and other services. Room was clean. Karaoke could be heard in the late evening coming from outside the hotel area if you are the type to go to bed early. Very pleasant stay and recommend if you are traveling to Phong Nha.'

It is close enough (2 doors down) from the famous Easy Tiger, but far enough (30 meters) away that your room doesn’t shake from their party. The only complaint is that we made special request - "if no elevator could we have a 2nd floor room" There is no elevator and we were given a room on the top floor.
