This place was amazing. We loved the close access to the beach, the porch to hang out on, the cute set up in the garage. The rooms were perfect and it was super clean! There was no cooking ingredients even salt and pepper, which was a little hard because we had to buy all that stuff but couldn't take it on the plane with us, which felt wasteful. But we loved every second of our stay here. Thank you so much for making my parents 50th anniversary trip a wonderful experience.

Our group of 8 guests (2 little kids) were very happy here, enjoying the lovely house, the beach time and the local national monument and walks/hikes. We were a bit surprised that kitchen details (leftover foil wrap or cleaning supplies from previous guests, for example) were completely absent, but otherwise, the kitchen was adequate for cooking. Tybee Cottages folks were helpful when needs arose. The address was tricky to find. Overall, though, we had a great stay!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Me and 8 girl friends booked this house for our annual girls trip. The house was exactly what we were looking for. On the beach with great views, plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. Locals did tell us to not walk through the sand dune and instead use the walkway one street over. The town is great! We rented bikes and enjoyed exploring the island. The rental agency was very responsive too!

Exceptionally clean, beautiful, comfortable home located right on the beach with amenities too numerous to mention! They have thought of everything that might make guests comfortable. The home was well furnished and roomy, and our group really thoroughly enjoyed the stay. We'll book again!

Gorgeous Home

Gone Coastal was a beautiful home. The layout was fantastic and our group of 10 was very comfortable. All of the beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed spending time on the beach as well as viewing it from the porches. I would definitely stay here again.

The house is wonderful and super clean! It has everything you need for a stay at the beach. Bedrooms and bathrooms are very nice and spacious and two porches to enjoy the outside as well as ping pong and corn hole in the garage make it an ideal place for families to stay. The elevator is an added plus and a large dining table for meals and board games. Seating area in family room and TV is great! Kitchen was well stocked with baking dishes and utensils and outdoor grill as well. Convenient access to the beach via a boardwalk. We hope ti come again!

High school friends reunion

This was an excellent property for our best friends reunion following separation due to the pandemic. The house was perfect and the location, looking out to the ocean, was more perfect. We enjoyed ourselves very much.

This was first visit to Tybee Island and we enjoyed the island visiting the city of Savannah. The house was built as a side-by-side duplex, however we did not see anyone next to us in the other unit during our stay. This is a 3 story house, not a condo, and comfortably accommodated 6 adults and 2 small children (the kids loved the bunk beds!). The elevator functioned perfect and a must for arrival, groceries, and departure. Furniture and decor is up to date. The house has 2 grills (gas and charcoal) and a wonderful bar and game area on the ground floor, which we used for entertaining family and grilling fish we caught one morning. Thank goodness the house had a sand buggy with ballon tires to haul beach gear for the very long walk through the sand dunes to the ocean! We brought a beach wagon, but its large wheels were useless in the dunes. Overall, we loved the house, beachfront location, quiet environment, and extra amenities. We plan to return to Tybee Island and will strongly consider this house again.

Great Trip

Our family had a wonderful time in Tybee. This rental is terrific and right on the beach. The walk to the beach is easy and short. There is also a nice boardwalk 1 block away that is perfect if you want to ride bikes to the beach. The house is very spacious and well equipped. Great rental!

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Tybee in this wonderful home. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, and we especially loved that it was located on the top floor, allowing us to enjoy the beautiful views while dining inside or relaxing at the high-top table on the porch.The beds were very comfortable, and the elevator made it easy to bring luggage and supplies to each floor. The house is conveniently located about a block from the Tybee Market, which made it easy to walk over and pick up anything we needed throughout the week.There is a nice boardwalk that leads partway to the beach, with the remaining path through the dunes and sand. For anyone who may have difficulty walking in the sand, there is also a boardwalk on 11th Street that extends all the way to the beach.One of our favorite parts of the stay was the porch. During our visit, we saw numerous birds in the trees surrounding the house, making it a delight for birdwatchers. Because of the weather, we spent most of our time on the porch enjoying spectacular sunrises, wonderful ocean breezes, and distant ocean views (the beach itself is partially obscured by vegetation).The owners also provided extra beach chairs, beach toys, and several bikes, which were great additions. Parking is a little tight, but manageable. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would happily return.

The location was beautiful! The photos accurately showed that you can indeed see the ocean from the two porches. We easily lounged and streamed movies at night on the living room television. I loved having my coffee in the morning and going out on the porch/balcony facing the ocean and listening to the birds. The beds were very comfortable and I appreciated the different pillows on each bed - some soft, and some firm.I would say that if you want to cook at all, you need to bring ALL your ingredients as though the kitchen is fully stocked for cooking utensils, plates, etc, there are absolutely no condiments provided (or even a space for them if that tells you anything). They did provide starter coffee for the drip maker which is VERY appreciated, especially for that first morning. Also, they had some travel mugs/insulated mugs which were GREAT to have to use outside.The smaller bathroom showers were a bit dark, but had really good water pressure to make up for it. The two larger tubs were FANTASTIC for nice relaxing soaks.We LOVED our stay at this location and would definitely come back.

Tybee island Savannah

We loved the location. Great beach experience (when it wasn’t raining lol). Close enough to Savannah for daily trips (we had a rental). House was amazing. All amenities and very clean. Easy to contact rental agency. Our elevator was out of order which was difficult given bedrooms are all upstairs but I was advised prior to our arriving that it was inoperable

Great - with Minor Qualifications.

The house itself was perfect. Immaculate, spectacular views, and they thought of every convenience - no Complaints. But - the parking space area is very tight. One of the vehicles parked inside MUST be no bigger than a Honda Civic - a Camry will not fit. The walk to the beach through the dunes is difficult for older guests. Several of us walked out to Butler Ave and over to 11th st to use the full wooden walkway there.
