Welcome to Blue Moon Cottage, a charming 1930s retreat, where thoughtful spaces and island tradition come together. This four-bedroom cottage blends classic Tybee character with relaxed outdoor living, the kind of place where families reconnect, kids laugh poolside, and “just one more day” quickly becomes the plan.
Here, it’s easy to slow down, spread out, and discover the joy in every stay.

THE SPACE
Blue Moon Cottage is thoughtfully arranged on a single level, with the main living area at the heart of the home, flowing naturally into the kitchen and dining space. The living room feels warm and welcoming, perfect for movie nights, post-beach lounging, or quiet mornings with coffee.

The kitchen is full of vintage-inspired personality, featuring open shelving, a deep farmhouse sink, and custom baby-blue Big Chill appliances that perfectly complement the cottage’s coastal charm. Enjoy meals together at the dining table, which seats six, plus additional seating at the island for casual breakfasts or evening snacks.

Bedrooms are comfortably spread throughout the home, offering privacy for everyone in your group. The primary bedroom features a king bed and an attached full bathroom. Two additional bedrooms offer queen beds, one with a convenient attached half bathroom. The fourth bedroom includes two twin beds, making it ideal for kids or younger guests. A centrally located full bathroom is easily accessible from the living area.

Outdoor living is where Blue Moon Cottage truly shines. The screened-in porch quickly becomes a favorite gathering spot, perfect for outdoor dining, reading, rainy-day lounging, or even getting some work done at the dedicated porch desk.
The pool offers a refreshing escape, with the option to add heat for an additional fee during cooler seasons. After a day at the beach, rinse off in the outdoor shower before unwinding poolside or enjoying yard games in the open outdoor space.

This home is not pet-friendly.
While centrally located, Blue Moon Cottage is not oceanfront.
Entry requires climbing eight exterior steps.
The cottage features a traditional key entry, preserving its vintage charm.
If you rent a golf cart, you must follow the City of Tybee designated routes.
Pool heating is optional and available for an additional cost. Please review the note below regarding the Optional Pool Heating.

Note about the Optional Pool Heating:
Looking to enjoy a little extra warmth? Pool heat is available as an optional add-on for $35 per day. When heated, the pool can reach temperatures of up to 75°F. Please note that cooler overnight air, cold rain, and lower ground temperatures may lower the water temperature, especially when nighttime temperatures fall below 45°F.
If you’d like to add pool heating to your stay, just let our reservation team know at least 72 hours before arrival so we can have everything ready for you.
