  • Sunny Daze is een charmante en betaalbare eengezinsvakantiehuisje, oorspronkelijk gebouwd in 1950. Sunny Daze bevindt zich op een groot hoekperceel in de rustige wijk Back River, op ongeveer 1,5 km, 9 minuten lopen van het belangrijkste strand, winkels en restaurants.

    Deze twee slaapkamers, begane grond huis biedt ruime en comfortabele accommodaties. Deze accommodatie is huisdiervriendelijk en heeft een grote tuin voor uw huisdieren. De twee slaapkamers delen een badkamer die toegankelijk is in de gang. De badkamer heeft een inloopdouche. De grootste slaapkamer is ingericht met een queensize bed en de gastenslaapkamer heeft twee eenpersoonsbedden.

    Het mooi bijgewerkte interieur heeft een volledig uitgeruste keuken met een vaatwasser. Er is een comfortabele woonkamer met een slaapbank en een flatscreen-tv. Er is een extra veranda, naast de woonkamer, ideaal om te ontspannen of te kruipen met een goed boek na een zonnige dag op het strand. Een nieuwe toevoeging aan deze accommodatie is een nieuwe, overdekte veranda die een geweldige extra ruimte biedt voor gasten om te genieten van de koele Tybee-nachten.

    Buitenvoorzieningen zijn onder andere een aangelegde tuin met stenen bestrating. Er is een vuurplaats buiten, evenals een gasbarbecue. De full-size wasmachine en droger bevinden zich in de vrijstaande garage.

    Dit huisje is huisdiervriendelijk en inclusief gratis WiFi (draadloos internet) voor gasten. Parkeerplaats voor 3. Geweldige optie voor kajakkers want er is ruimte om de trailer te parkeren en je bent slechts een paar korte blokken verwijderd van de beste kajaklancering op het eiland! Wandel langs de prachtige Venetiaanse Drive aan de achterkant van het eiland. Perfecte locatie om prachtige zonsondergangen van de Tybee boven het moeras te bekijken.

Property was in a great location to all the fun activities for Priate Festival. Was a great house to relax at and not feel like we were on top of each other. Kitchen had a great selection of pans and beds were so comfortable. Lots of great views and such a quiet neighborhood.

Great Stay!

We’ve been to Tybee many times and this was our first time staying closer to the back river. We loved it. House is full of charm and comfy furnishings.

We really enjoyed our stay here! Great fenced in back yard area, plenty of space inside. Pretty clean and stocked. We did have to get a few items ( trash bags, paper towels, dish soap) but it was well worth the trip and we would 10/10 return. The kitchen is very well stocked with appliances- only complaint is the TV. So old there was a lag when you pushed buttons on remote, it barely worked. But who cares that much about tv when you’re at the beach! Good location- we got a gold cart and were minutes from the beach.

Lovely relaxing space

There was great clear communication from the manager of the house for check in. The kitchen was spacious, nice variety of spaces to relax and things. Loved the outside space. Nice for entertaining. There was some leftover beach supplies in decent condition which was helpful. I included some photos of activities we did in the area too.

Cute house!

Beds were comfy. Plenty of linens and towels. Bathroom sink needs longer spout for water. And the bathroom sink was clogged and slow draining. But everything else was great!

Overall the size and location of the house were great. Bedrooms were comforatable and kitchen well stocked except bare minimum soap, trach bags, paper towes, and TP provided. It was clean except a couple bug issues. The TV was small and had no apps. The backyard was overgrown and the table and furniture was very dirty and then the kitchen table pictured was in a seperate room w/o AC and it was hot so there was not a usuable eating area. The electrical in the bathroom needed to be reset from guest room. We brought bikes and kayaks and this place was in a great location for these. Sun sets were great and we enjoyed the area and location. Quiet peaceful neighborhood. Lots of parking.

Nice house

The decor and style were lovely. The backyard concept was nice. The beds were comfortable. However, the house seemed more than a little run down overall and could have been cleaned more thoroughly. It smelled a little musty, there was some trash in the backyard, and we had trouble figuring out all of the exterior light switches. It was a nice house, but could have been kept up better.

Nice enough place. clean but yet someow not clean at same time. Could tell it was just sprayed for bugs but still had to kill a huge cockroach. no type of cleaning supplies at all not even a broom. need some more blankets and maybe freshen up better sheets. outside is overgrown and just scary....lol

Tybee Stay

Quaint beach cottage located in a safe and quiet neighborhood, convenient location to beach. Management company response and care was excellent! Issues with clogged sink that were resolved but took 2 maintenance trips. Highly recommend that the beds and bedding be replaced. -very very old as one can feel the springs, at this price point it was disappointing. If you plan to eat in, kitchen was under stocked-no foil, baggies, tissues, napkins, 1 kitchen towel, etc.

The property was very clean on the inside, however, the patio area needed some attention.

You need to upgrade the bedroom furniture the mattress in the Master bedroom is terrible,!!!!!! Also, there are no electrical outlets in the bedroom with the twin beds, the lamp was not even plugged in?????????

Well appointed, updated mid-century beach cottage.

I would rent this cottage again. Comfortable, updated beach town cottage. It is about six blocks from the mid beach, though beach easily accessed from 12th or 13th street. Quiet neighborhood. Enjoyed the sunny breakfast porch. The fenced patio/yard was perfect for our deaf/blind dog. We did not use the fire-pit or grill. The location was perfect for exploring both ends of the island. The only drawback was the “springy” mattress. The twins beds were more comfortable. The queen mattress needs to be replaced. The rental company was superb. I would rent this cottage again.

Below Average for a Vacation

My wife and I stayed at Sunny Daze and overall it was not great. I’ll start with the bad…. communication with the property manager was confusing at times. There were at least 5 palmetto bugs (aka cockroaches) we had to kill during our stay, which also isn’t a comforting thought when you go to sleep at night or prep food in the kitchen. The queen bed here is downright terrible (as are the pillows). The back porch area was filthy and covered in fire ant mounds which made it basically unusable. Finally, if we tried to run water in the bathroom sink for more than about a minute it would get backed up into the basin. Sunny Daze is fine if you are looking for a quiet location and a roof over your head. Otherwise, I’d go elsewhere.

Peaceful and Spacious

This home has many rooms to enjoy. It is an easy walk to the beach as well as several great spots to grab a bite nearby. We loved this peaceful retreat!

Fabulous

The bungalow was lovely, beautifully decorated and not far from the beach (5 minute drive or less). Gorgeous backyard and comfy beds. We loved the sun room and decor. I can’t say enough about VRBO. They communicated via email and text so everything was very clear. We had a small problem and they came to fix it in less than 1/2 hour after we called. We loved everything. Property is perfect for couples or a family with 2 kids Very pet friendly and the location was very quiet.

Excellent getaway!

We were very pleased with the cottage and its location. It was very convenient to beach access and all that Tybee has to offer. The neighborhood was calm and quiet. The home was comfortable, nicely decorated, and offered everything we needed during our stay. Lots of memories made!
